This zipper hooded sweater is GREAT. I love it. I ordered the navy blue and it's so saturated and a perfect navy blue (meaning true to what you'd expect for this name). The entire sweater/cardigan (I'm using this term interchangeably for this review. I have a ton of cardigans and I wouldn't dress it like that or consider it that. Perhaps technically this is, but to me, this is a hoodie sweater with a full front zipper) is one color, inside and out. The material is extremely soft. It feels great to touch and against the skin. It is a tight knit and will help keep the cold out (you'll have to layer this when it's cold as it's a thin hoodie. I don't want to give the impression it can be worn in cold weather without a coat/jacket). The cuffs are a tighter knit which allows it to stay up by the wrists. The front zipper (which opens from the top and bottom--silver colored) is fully functional. The aglets for the hoodie are also silver. Speaking of the hoodie, I have a large head and this fits completely over my head/covers my hair. It really is a great hoodie. I think it's true to size so stick with your normal size. It will be more relaxed vs the description photos, but it doesn't cling to me. I think it's a very casual style when on but this color is so lux. I've ordered from this brand before and have never been disappointed with how it feels and looks on the body. I highly recommend this hoodie for your collection. I love this jacket!! It's 100% Merino wool and it feels amazing! It's so warm and so so soft. Feels like you're wrapped in a cloud. Merino wool is very soft to the touch while maintaining your body temperature. It keeps you warm and cozy, no need for other layers. I ordered a size small, it fits perfectly. I own several Ciovkis sweaters and they are all of good quality. This one is no exception. It is soft and warm. It has some weight to it that will be helpful in the cold New England winters where I live. The fabric and zipper are quality. The ties for the hood have little metal caps on them so that they don't become unraveled in the wash. This sweater is a casual one and looks great with jeans, although you could wear it with ankle pants as well. It fits true to size. It is just a nice overall basic sweater. Read more

This wool blend cardigan/hoodie sweater turned out nicer than I expected. I ordered the gray which is a medium shade of charcoal gray. The material is thin for a sweater but I was glad for that. Not so thin so as to be see-through or poor quality. Just a thinner style. The weave is still tight. Stitching fine - no loose threads or holes. Wrists and waist have a subtle yet wide, ribbed edge. The hood has a drawstring and comes down over the forehead. There are two pockets in front - not super deep. And a double-direction zipper. I was least enthralled with the zipper as I had a little trouble getting it to work at first, but then it did. It’ll be ok if I’m careful with it. There isn’t a lining. Material is mostly soft. You can feel the wool blend keeping it from feeling “butter soft” but soft enough. The blend also helps it to feel warm even though it’s a thinner sweater. Directions say machine wash but don’t use the dryer - guessing it will shrink if you do. The size is pretty accurate, though be aware it is a more fitted style like a sweater - not a baggy sweatshirt. I got the medium which is my usual size. It clings to me just a bit but is stretchy, so fit pretty well. I do wish it was just a teeny bit longer. The length is accurately depicted in the seller’s model pictures though. I do like this hoodie-sweater and think it is of nice quality (except maybe the zipper.) If you want a fitted style - order your size. If you want it a little baggier - you’ll want to go up a size. Update: I did get a chance to wash this gently in the washing machine and laid it out to dry. It was very soft after washing. No shrinking (but I didn’t use the dryer.) I’d up this item to five stars if I didn’t dislike the zipper as I still do. Just rough up get it going. Read more

This wool blend cardigan sweater is excellent! I ordered it in the color brown that is trending right now, and I’m so pleased with it. This isn’t your regular cardigan style sweater. The material is of much more quality. It’s almost more dressy? It’s super soft to the touch. The material doesn’t seem to stretch upon wearing. I am 5’6 145 lbs, and ordered the large. The zipper is sturdy and quality. But it’s definitely “new”.. it has a little tug needed to get it up. But you can tell it’s not cheap. The sweater itself Is not thick or thin. It can be worn with long sleeves under it, and I’m still comfortable, as I am with short sleeve under. A deep pocket is on each side. Who doesn’t love a pocket! Great piece for the price. Read more
