I've been so pleased with my recent clothing purchases from Amazon and this sweater vest far exceeded my expectations in every way. It took a long time to arrive to me but it's well worth the wait for it. I purchased the vest by Ciovkis in the Qian Shuhui color which is exactly like the web page shows and very similar to the color of a mushroom. I chose this color because it looks fabulous paired with black trousers and a classic white button down shirt underneath. The vest is only made up of a small amount of marino wool, around 5%, but it's just enough to provide the extra warmth without it being itchy. It's literally so soft and cuddly to the touch. The quality of the vest is incredible. There were no snags or pulls anywhere on it that I could find. I purchased the size small and for reference I weigh 117 pounds and wear a size small in tops. I'd say this vest runs true to size because it fits perfectly with a button down shirt under it. The pattern of the knitted design on the front of the vest is very classic. I like to buy pieces that will be on trend for years and I consider this vest to be in that category because it's such a classic style. There's a 3" slit on the bottom of the back middle hem of the vest and it's these small details that make it really stand out. I find that sweaters can be too hot even in winter, so I appreciate wearing a vest in place of a full sweater. I'm thrilled with this vest so much that I'm eyeing it in the color red for the holidays. It's very reasonably priced for such great quality and I highly recommend it to others. Read more

This Ciovkis Merino Wool Blend Sweater Vest has been the perfect piece as we are heading into fall! Based on the pictures I chose the color labeled "Qian Shuhui 5017" and it is a really attractive neutral gray/brown color that pairs well with a lot of other items in my closet. I'm usually a medium so that is the size I opted for and while the sweater does fit, it is a little short at the waist and I'm almost wishing I had sized up to a large. The sweater itself is very soft and comfortable--it has some merino wool content but you don't have to worry about this being itchy. The cable knit styling is classic and I do love how the back is a little longer with a split detailing. I paired this with a long sleeved tee and jeans and it made for a very cute fall outfit (if I do say so myself!). I really wanted to love this sweater vest, but it’s a complete miss for me. It’s so wide that I don’t think it could look attractive on anyone who is slim. I even tried tying the wings on the back, but they’re not along enough to do anything with other than to just hang. And these wings actually make the shirt look even wider than it already is. What I do like it about it is the color, it’s very nice. And the quality is very good. It’s also very soft, so I can see why others would like it. I simply don’t think anyone with a slim figure can wear this. Although, it’s possible that my short height also makes it look so bad. Perhaps someone who is slim and tall can get away with this style. I personally think it’s a little pricey for the style, but based on quality and comfort, the price is fair for those who find it fits them well. Read more
