I got this to workout in, not to swim in and it is perfect for that. It works for a regular workout, yoga, Pilates, and tennis (but I wish it had pockets). I’m 5’8” so I sized up a size to a medium for my height, and it was definitely the right choice. The material is thick and durable, but also lightweight enough to be comfortable. The top has removable cups. I prefer to remove them, and I think the suit fits better without them. The only drawback is the ruching in the back of the suit, I think it detracts instead of adds to the attractiveness of the suit. This is a versatile one-piece that can be worn as a swimsuit and could also be worn to work out. The boyleg shorts and full-coverage design make it feel secure and supportive.It does run a bit small. For reference, I am 5'7", 135 pounds and ordered a medium, which feels closer to a small. While you could wear this for workouts with enough confidence, I would personally use it as swimwear only. This swimsuit fits beautifully and feels very secure. The boyleg shorts provide great coverage and stay in place whether I am swimming laps or relaxing by the pool. The ruched back and waist shaping give a slimming look without feeling tight or restrictive. The straps are comfortable and supportive and I appreciate the removable padding for adjustable comfort. This swim suit is well made in that the shoulder straps and neck line are symmetrical, the leg lengths are even and the seams are clean and tight. For reference, I am 5’5”, 113 lb, size 0-2 pant, 32DD, XS to Small shirt. This swim suit is so tight on top that my skin pops out over the top. The rest of the suit fits appropriately (length-wise, width-wise and the tension over the shoulders). The design is not that great because it does not give you that “lean” look. Suit is beautifully made with excellent material and overall seams that are secure, flat, and non-binding. Color is beautiful (purple). Unfortunately, a runs a little smaller than I am comfortable with. So perhaps order one size up. The legs rode up on me and would not stay in place. I am a size 12-14, so I ordered the x-large. It is a beautiful suit and if it fit properly I would have loved it. Excellent detailing in rouch and cut-out. Removable pads in top area, but straps still dug in slightly, over a long wearing I could imagine it being uncomfortable. The material is soft and nice stretch (just not enough for me personally). This swimsuit is cute, comfortable, and full coverage. The shorts are cute and allows for full coverage of the bum and the bikini area. It is comfortable from rhe top to the bottom.
