Love these shoes. I needed some great Winter boots for up here in the mountains. I also have issues with my feet and my toes. So when I buy shoes now I have to buy wide when I used to buy a medium. These shoes are very solid, warm, look great and the quality is excellent. I love all the inserts that they send too. You just cannot go wrong with the Orthopedic Diabetic Wide. They are very comfortable and they also give you a little bit added height. I would recommend to measure your foot by putting it on a piece of paper on the floor and marking the top of your toe and marking the bottom of your heel and measure the distance in between. Then follow the inches on the chart that they provided. I normally wear a size 8 wide but I measured a 8 -1/2 - 9 wide on this shoe (Foot approx 9.75" long) and it worked out perfectly. Look at the size chart. Somebody said to make sure you do a half a size up and because I wear thick winter socks I definitely did that. I am glad I ordered a 9 instead of an 8 -1/2 because it would have been too small with thick socks. Ironically I normally wear a size 8 wide in tennis shoes. I ordered another pair of Orthopedic shoes that looks just like these but they're not the ankle high and they are house shoes by the same company and I actually ordered a 8- 1/2 and they fit great. From looking at the chart on this particular shoe versus the other one which is very similar the chart was actually a little different and this chart showed me that I was closer to a size 9 so please measure and read carefully. Because they send insert that add thickness to the inside of the shoe you can't go wrong by going up a half size larger because if they're too big inside you can always add the inserts. I have a fused ankle and shoes make all the difference in my life. I just moved from a tropical climate to a cold climate and needed boots. These boots are cute and cozy. They have decent support but come with a removable heel guard and two removable insoles so you can tighten or loosen them with the insoles. The toe box has plenty of room and my toes don’t feel cramped at all. I have worn them in the snow and they kept me dry and warm. I really like the zipper on the front. Really happy with these. I’m not sure if they are comfortable enough or warm enough on my feet to keep them. I’d like to be able to walk comfortably for some time to be able to tell you that I love them. I think the zippers are a bit tough to use but they appear to be very warm which is one reason I ordered them. I will give an update when this happens. I will only use them indoors for now! Wow, very comfortable and fit was a bit loose, but adding the included ortho insoles I was able to get a snug fit. Love the style which is stylish and not looking like ugly corrective shoes which cost a lot more. Quality feels and looks excellent. These are so comfortable and cozy from the start. I ordered a size 6 (I probably should have ordered a size 5&1/2) because these it seems to en a bit larger fr myself. Which is perfect with warm thicker socks. These boots were delivered today and I’ve not taken them off yet. The arch, style is great. They look and feel like these boots were made to last!!! This boot is incredibly comfortable and warm. I loved it instantly—even more so, after my first walk with it. Yes, it's a bit bulky, but I think that's the price for wiggle room for the toes and especially for my bunions. I'm at a point where I'll choose looks over comfort when necessary. These boots are not only warm, but they are VERY comfortable. An extra arch support is included, which I inserted for improved arch support. They zip up the FRONT, making it very easy for this senior to use. They are definitely wide enough--I ordered a 10W, my usual size. Read more
