I bought these cargo pants for my very selective 13 yr old grandaughter, She's approx 5'4 and weighs 98-106lbs small framed, I bought a size small they pant is "trendy baggy" the high waist helps the fit and the pant bottoms have tightening pull strings so you're in control they're great pants, I was so pleased to find that the material is Actually REALLY 100% cotton 95%cotton 5%poly, unlike all the polyester I was viewing ugh. I bought these pants cause I needed more work pants and liked the style of these along with the cargo pockets. They arrived on time and the fabric is darn good! I underestimated my size though and thought the small wouldn’t fit, they fit and are certainly baggy 🤭 I’m 5’4 and 122lbs and dropping more as time moves on. Kinda wish there was an xS cause that would have fit me a tad better but I can certainly make the small work 🫶 after a few runs in the dryer I have faith it’ll form better. This is not a keep for me. I had high hopes because at a $36 price point I expected mediocre quality at least. Fit: This would only be good for a person with a classic 90's/2000's slim model build. They have ZERO room in the seat, so if you have ANY booty they will not sit right; the back dips down well below the waistline while the front remains at the waistline. The upper thighs/hips are also more slim build suited; I bought the appropriate size for me and the hips and thighs were very tight. From mid-thigh down though, they're good. Material: I cannot speak for after a wash, but as they come they feel like you are wearing an inexpensive tote-bag. It is a very rough canvas cotton material; uncomfortably stiff with zero give (though being 100% cotton a lack of stretch is expected). The stiffness also makes the garment fall funny if you want to cinch in the bottoms instead of leaving them open. If these were half the price they are listed at they would be worth the buy, but at the current price and the product quality this is a definite pass for me. Read more
