This robe is what I have been looking for. I have searched in person and online for a long time to find a luxurious robe with certain aspects. The aspects I was looking for, and this robe meets, are: luxurious softness that is uncompromising, warm enough for winter, and I suspect will be fine for most seasons, and the must-haves are a lined hood, pockets, a nice-sized belt, and very high quality. The color of this robe is the most perfect lilac, and it is stunning!!!! I think spring blossoms when I look at it. I appreciate the storage bag it came in, made of the same fabric/color and featuring a pull tie at the top to cinch the bag closed. I realize the price is premium, but when you want a well-made product, it is worth the price. Sizing: I upsized to an L since I like oversized lounge wear, and it is perfect for me. The robe cuffs can be turned up; it does have the standard dual grossgrain ties inside. This is so comfortable you don't want to take it off ;). This robe has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to others. The logo on the front is sweet, and the name of the company embroidered onto the back at the center of the belt is subtle and classic. I will be looking at other items from this brand. This bathrobe is SO luxurious and comfortable! The material is so soft! It literally feels like a warm hug. It has a long fit and comes down past my knees, which I absolutely love. It also has a hood (yay!) and pockets! I got a big size because I like my bathrobes to be huge on me, and I’m glad I did. It’s extremely comfortable and fits exactly how I wanted it to. Literally the best bathrobe I’ve ever owned! It also comes in a really nice matching drawstring bag, which makes it perfect to give as a gift. It looks so luxe and high quality, and I’d personally be thrilled to receive this as a gift. Definitely something to keep in mind for Mother’s Day, birthdays, and other holidays! I think my only complaint about it is the tag. Oh my gosh, I put this robe on and within 5 minutes, the tag rubbing on the back of my neck was driving me insane. I had to take it off and melt the edges down with a lighter to make it smoother- it was SO rough around the edges and horrifically itchy. It’s not the type of tag that’s easy to cut off with scissors, either- it’s really sewn on tight so you can’t remove it without potentially cutting the robe. I think that would be literally the only thing I would change about this robe. Overall, aside from the itchy tag dilemma, this is the perfect bathrobe! I literally love it so much. This robe feels like luxury. The fabric is incredibly soft and plush, so wearing this robe feels like being wrapped in a cuddly, warm blanket. For even more snuggles, there’s a voluminous hood that easily covers the entire head of an adult. To help keep your fancy new robe in place, there is an inner string to tie it together - a lovely detail that I’ve seen dropped from a lot of robes lately - as well as the exterior belt. Each side has two small pockets, just large enough to hold an average-sized cell phone. On the chest of the robe there is a monogram with the company’s initials of D&P. I would have preferred a plain robe instead of branding, but the way that the fabric from the cowl falls covers up the embroidery so it ended up being less intrusive than I expected. If I have to advertise a brand, though, Darren & Phillip seems like a good one as they’re devoted to the welfare and rescue of dogs. So you can get a wonderful new robe for yourself and feel good about helping some animals, too. (If you’re a real dog parent, they even sell doggie-sized matching robes, too!) I have never owned a robe this luxurious. It reminds me of the fancy ones at the spa. I ordered mine in XL and am very happy with the extremely comfortable fit. This is made of the softest material ever that smoothly slides over your skin. It is incredibly warm. The robe wraps all the way around me with complete head to toe coverage, there is even an oversized hood that keeps your neck and head warm. There are large pockets as well that you can bury your hands in. The robe has small ties inside as well as the larger external tie that can be used to secure the robe once on. This robe is quite comfortable! The first thing I recognized was the softness of the fabric. It is not heavy, but it is soft. Next is the size. These run quite big. I got an XL and its twice as big as I need. The color is lovely, such a soft matte lavender color. While the material isnt heavy, the robe does offer some warmth. Personally, I was hoping for heavier material due to where I live, but that doesnt take away from the quality of this product. It has an inner tie and an outer belt tie. D&P is embroidered on the chest. The robe also has a hood, which I appreciate. The robe comes in a bag made of the same material. Overall, the quality of this robe is up there. This is so cute!! I got this as a vine item. It’s not as fluffy as I thought but it’s a great gift idea. It’s not too thin but not super thick. Love the hood on top. The size fit me perfectly for my growing pregnancy. Came in a cute little drawstring bag which is a great touch. The only thing is it came in clear packaging and so it got wet while we were out of town for a day. Overall I will say it’s a nice gift giftable robe BUT you could get better robes for cheaper. It keeps me warm when my hot flashes cool down and I get cold which is really nice. I have a feeling I’ll be bringing this robe to birthing center with me. Read more
