This is my second time around with this lightweight turtle neck. I bought a black one. I ordered a size small, my usual size. The material feels good and is stretchy and washable. It’s lightweight and can be worn alone or layered for additional warmth. It’s close-fitting and the neck fits tightly the way I like it - very little drooping around the neck and comfortable. I’m going to purchase additional colors. Read more

This is a wonderful, soft, lightweight turtleneck top. I bought it to go with a scarf I was having trouble matching, but the color shown online was accurate, thankfully. It washes well and is very flattering. Be careful on the sizing. The size chart for this top is very helpful. I usually take a small in tops, but in this case because it is a bit more clingy, I ended up ordering a large which is perfect. Nice fit, not too clingy. The first time I wore it a friend commented on how much she liked the softness and color, so I ordered one for her and sent it to her as a gift. She loves it! Read more

No. This is not your average "structured" turtleneck, but it's what I wanted for layering. I wanted a lightweight but soft fabric with some stretch, and I wanted somewhat of a high neck but didn't want a fold-over tight neck. I live in the North Eastern part of the country and already have plenty of the more traditional turtlenecks, but they're often too heavy/constricting for wearing under another garment and too heavy to tuck into a pair of jeans, which is something I intend to do with these. I can see this turtleneck coming in very handy even in the warmer months around here. The neck itself is not at all structured. It's just kind of a "scrunchy" type of neck that folds over itself just enough to stay up. Frankly, it could be a tad tighter and does not stay up the way it's shown in the picture, but I'm okay with that. As for overall fit, I'm 5'4" and weigh 155 lbs and bought two of these in L, my usual size. They're very form-fitting and okay in body length, but I have long arms and the sleeves could be a tad longer. I've only washed them once so far, and they don't seem to have shrunk, but over time I'm not sure what they'll do. Also, when I washed them, I pulled them out of the dryer just after a few minutes and let them hang dry. That said, if I order more, which I intend to do, I'll probably go up to an XL. Note that the one I got in cream is definitely see-though. If I wanted to wear it under a jacket or something that's more open in the front, I'd wear a cami under it. Anyway, I'm pleased with the purchase and will be purchasing a few more. Read more

The color is gorgeous. The workmanship is very nice. The body and sleeve length are longer than I expected, and too long for me at 5 feet 6. The fit is much snugger in both the arms and body than I would expect in an XL. My biggest disappointment, though, is the neck. I fold my turtlenecks over, and this one is made to crinkle, period. If you're longer and thinner than average and you like crinkle necks, go for it. Read more

Love this design. Instead of having a seam up the back for the turtleneck there are two on either side. So essentially it is a one piece turtleneck with seems up the sides for both the arms and the neck. Wonderful design, and the fabric is wonderful. This is a great layering piece. Do not not thick material, but very comfortable and I love it and I will buy more. Read more

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, because my expectations can be vastly different than someone else’s for the same item. I work outside, so I wanted a bunch of turtlenecks to wear under layers. I got these and put them in the wash for first wear, and pulled one out this morning to use. The fabric is light, as described, but almost cheaply light. The turtleneck part is just a straight seam from the shoulders, so it also looks cheaply made. After the one wash the turtleneck was above my belly button, which isn’t ideal for layering, as I like to tuck mine into my pants and have my mid section protected from the elements as I’m working throughout the day. I’ve already had to stretch it down to return it in and I’ve been wearing it for an hour. I was disappointed, especially because I bought four and washed them, so can’t return them. The neck part also within moments was falling down around my neck and not holding in place, which for me, again working outdoors, I need it to maintain some shape and hold up. Other than that, the colors were true to advertised, so that was good, but they are basically not usable for me, and I thought maybe I could use them for extra fabric scraps for projects - and now I have to find new ones and spend more money.
