I like to wear dresses in the winter but hate cold air on my legs, thus I prefer a knee high boot. But I’ve never been able to find one that fit my thin calves. I am 5'7 and wear an XS. I'm a runner with this legs, but these boots are the perfect match. They are breathable, extremely comfortable and look fantastic dressed up for any office or evening occasion. This would have been a perfect boot if there were a bit more stretch. My calf is 14" and I hoped the elastic around the 13" opening would allow more stretch. While worth a try, the stretch is only sufficient for flex while walking. The heel is perfect height, not too high or low. And looks perfect on! These are beautiful, high quality boots. I've been frustrated trying to find boots in the last few years that aren't super wide on the calves. My calves have 13.5 inch circumference. These feel too tight zipped all of the way up. But I could wear them with the zipper down an inch or two. I usually put gel inserts in the sole of my boots. These have no extra room in the sole and are pretty snug in the toes. I'm going to exchange for an 8.5 to see if that helps. There is a fake fur lining in the whole boot that feels luxurious and should add extra warmth in the winter. Read more
