Womens Satin High Waisted Maxi Skirts Hidden Elasticized Waistband A Line Long Skirt

This is a beautiful skirt that is well made and feels expensive. The navy is a great blue that is rich and classy looking. I am 5’8” and 140. I wear a size 6 in pants and ordered a size medium in this skirt based on recommendations. No complaints. I may have been able to wear a size small, as the medium was plenty loose, but I love that the medium isn’t tight anywhere and looks great on. I especially love the length of the skirt, which is longer than most and perfect for fall and winter. The material is good weight, hangs nicely, and feels really nice. I didn’t have any issues with it snagging easily, which is great considering my rings are notorious for snagging my clothes. The waistband is thicker than some others I’ve tried and lays nicely. It doesn’t pucker anywhere or have weird seams on the side. Although the skirt was folded and packed in an airtight bag, I was able to get the majority of the wrinkles out by throwing it in the dryer for a couple of minutes to steam out the wrinkles and then hit the last ones with my steam iron. It didn’t wrinkle during the day, despite sitting in the car for over an hour and then up and down throughout the day at my office. It still looked great 14 hours later. Wow - was this skirt a WELCOME surprise! I was in a pinch and needed something to wear to a semi-formal event. To be safe, I ordered 2 skirts from 2 different sellers/makers: This one by Outoshe & another one by SHENHE [Women's Satin Maxi Skirts High Waisted A Line Long Skirts Elegant Office Skirts]. I highly recommend BOTH skirts - but this one is slightly better fabric quality, and I ended up wearing this one to the event. The feel of the fabric thickness on your skin is wonderful... and it hangs beautifully. Not lined - but doesn't need to be at all. This is a pull up skirt with NO zipper. It is fuller at the bottom than the Outoshe brand - but not "grandma" looking. :) Comfortable, well made. Wrinkles were minimal upon arrival from shipping (whereas the Outoshe was very wrinkled), and steamed out easily! No iron needed! The media could not be loaded. I wore this skirt as part of an outfit for a scholarship interview and received so many compliments! The material is incredibly soft and silky, and it looks very elegant without being uncomfortable. I love that there’s no zipper you just slip it on, and it’s nice and stretchy, which makes it easy to wear. It’s a lovely skirt with thick fabric. Color:. I ordered champagne and it is more of a golden color than a true champagne. That said, the color is still very pretty and will look nice. Fit: Runs big in the waist. Works well for girls like me that have a bit extra in the hip area. Fabric: Much too thick! I’m disappointed in the skirt because of this. It doesn’t move with you or have that lovely fluid movement that this type of skirt should have. It sticks out rather stiffly in a definite “A” shape. I bought it for a Christmas party that is two days away, so I’m pretty much stuck with it. Like I said it is pretty, but not exactly what I had in mind or how the pictures portray it. I really wanted something that would wow my hubby and would have more fluid movement. First time a maxi skirt has fit me perfectly! As a senior woman this is a classy skirt...the fabric is not a shiny satin finish but soft and smooth. The A line design drapes beautifully...not too full or clingy. I'm 5'6" size XL and the length is perfect. It will look great with boots and a Jean jacket! Read more

The material was beautiful. But the fit was terrible. I normally wear a large, but they said to order a size up. So I ordered the extra large and it fit OK except for the waist which still was too small so I don’t know what was up with that. Read more
