I am pleasantly surprised by this satin skirt. 😍👏✨ The quality is excellent: beautifully sewn, nice and thick satin, with a lovely drape. It arrived vacuum sealed and folded around cardboard, but the wrinkles vanished the moment I put it on. It looks and feels fabulous! I ordered a size Medium and it's roomier than I expected; I probably could have sized down to a Small, even though Medium is my normal size. For reference, I am 5'8" 129 pounds with a 29" waist and 37" hips. I'm not very curvy, and the size chart made me think it might be tight in the waist, but it is not at all. It is comfortably loose everywhere—perhaps a bit too roomy in the hips, but I have particularly narrow hips, so that's a typical problem for me. The fabric is surprisingly stretchy, so if you're between sizes, I suggest sizing down a size. To demonstrate the stretchiness, I have taken a silly photo with my legs spread wide and knees bent (haha 😂 you won't see a model showing you this pose!). I'm happy to say: you could outrun a mugger or an obnoxious date in this skirt! 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ A fabulous find. It looks and feels great, the fabric is thick and heavy, the color 💙 is gorgeous and lush, the zipper is smooth and hidden, the waistband is nicely reinforced, the hem is neat and secure, it resists wrinkles, it drapes beautifully, and added bonus, it has enough stretch to sprint in it! 🏃‍♀️💨 Also, the price of $25 is an excellent value.
