It is ankle length and maxi on me (at 5"6") which I love. I ordered off size chart and found I needed a size smaller to make it fit like the photos...so there is some play in the size (hips) even though it is not a bias cut skirt. My suggested size looked too long and roomy and sloppy...but I was on the edge of needing a smaller size. So, keep that in mind. As far as the color RED, it is a stunning and perfect Christmas RED. For sizing reference, I'm 5'3", currently around 143 lbs with measurements about 41"-30"-40" (bust-waist-hip), and I'm wearing size 4-6 in jeans or a medium in most brands right now. Another random note but I have a shorter torso with longer legs (proportionally). I purchased this in a LARGE in the color WINE RED. For fit, this one was pretty good, mostly thanks to the drawstring waistband! I really liked that feature because most of the other satin skirts on Amazon have elastic. I think this looks much cuter, if a bit more casual. I was a little bigger than I currently am when I took these pictures, but the large still worked well. I wouldn’t go too much bigger than your usual size or you’ll have a lot of gathering around the waist. With that in mind, I’d say stick to your usual size unless you’re super hippy. My only tiny complaint is that it was a little longer than I wanted (pretty much touched the floor), but that’s OK and not the products fault – I kind of expected it since it was already ankle-length on the model. Material wise, I really liked this one. Compared to the other satin skirts I purchased, this one felt a little better quality, a little thicker, with a nice sheen. I actually think this one is worth the price, unlike the others! The color was also very pretty. While it did still show some lines beneath if you wear underwear with thicker edges or a bodysuit, it hid it much better than the other thinner ones, so that’s a big plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this skirt. Like I said, it’s a little different of a style with the drawstring, and the material was nice. Love this skirt! the quality seems durable. I have not had it laundered or cleaned so cannot speak to that but I really love it. the color and sizing was as expected. It is fitted but still flowy. you can make it higher rise or keep it low rise since it has the tie string! It does not seem to wrinkle too easily and while there is no stretch to it the tie string really helps to make it loose or tighter fitting. Read more

I like the length, at 5’6” it hits me almost at the ankle. The pattern is good but the fabric is too thick , not in a good way. Because of that it looks like the quality is not there. The tie waist is convenient to adjust, yet due to slippery polyester fabric, it unties often and creates bulk too. Read more
