Lived in Costa Rica. Very rainy. Have always purchased the calve high rainboots, but they are such a pain to get off and on and your feet get sweaty. They are only good for long continuous rainfall, if you have to only wear them for less then an hour, or and if you have to deal with high puddles and uneven terrain, which I did. Now that I am in California, the rain is unpredictable and you walk mostly on predictable even terrain and rarely, if ever, go into a deep muggy puddle, so why deal with the disadvantages of high rainboots. This was my mindset when I was looking for small rainboots. And these boot even surpassed my expectations. Not only are they everything you would expect in a rainboot, they have excellent traction, are very comfortable, so easy to get on and off and, the cherry on top, they are stylish enough so when it is not raining, you don't look stupid. I’ve worn these shoes daily since I bought them. I love them. I wear them gardening, walking, everywhere. I normally wear a 7.5. I first ordered the 7.5 (38) and the shoes were comfortable with a little extra wiggle room (I have narrow/skinny feet and ankles). I decided to get the size 7 (37); it was a comfortable, more snug fit. I wear the size 7 more often, but will keep the 7.5 for winter wear with thicker socks. They’ve been covered in mud several times and clean up easily. Highly recommend! UPDATE: This is the third pair I've purchased; second pair size 7. I don't think I've ever had a pair of shoes I love so much! I wear the heck out these things, so much that it's become a joke in the family. I get compliments on them all the time too. The first pair of size 7 is still fine, but I wanted an additional pair. I broke the tab on the right shoe, but with all the wear and tear on them it was bound to happen. Read more
These boots are comfy and cute and a great basic rain boot. They are a little stiff, not sure if they will continue to break in over time. They do slip a little on the heel when I walk, I probably could have gone a half size down but thick socks solve the problem so it’s not a super big deal. If you’re on the fence about these, go ahead and buy them! Read more
Giiiiiiiirl they slip on like a sock. Love that they're not stiff a** boots like some others that feel almost like a tire type of rubber. But these are cute! And we wont look like lumberjacks. I got the brown one but im definitely going to order another color and I hope they add more colors Read more
Perfect fit. I wear an 8.5,but because I have bunions, most shoes are slightly tight, especially rain boots. They feel very comfortable. If your foot is narrow they may be a bit large. They slip on and off without hassle. Read more
Comfy, nice little rain boot, however, the fumes of the plastic will overwhelm you. This never dissipates. It’s like walking with your own landfill of toxic chemicals. Read more
I’ve had these boots for a few months now and what started as an inexpensive necessity to get through our staff parking lot without soaked feet has become one of my favorite pairs of shoes for fall, winter, and spring. I didn’t realize until some teenage students pointed out to me that they look very much like a popular expensive brand of rain boots so that’s a bonus. They are slightly big even for my huge feet but that’s something to be expected in rain boots and makes them easier to change quickly. The boots are super quick and easy to clean up whether I scuff them or walk through a muddy swampy area in my yard near the creek. They have nice heavy treads on the bottom and are water tight. I love that they are NOT lined at all because lining can get very hot with socks during the day even in colder temperatures and snow, so I get to pick my heat level based on the dress socks I choose to go with them. They look decent with skinny leg dress pants, or with jeans and boot socks folded down over the top of them. Easily my favorite shoe buy of the year that will last me for several years to come, and I find myself reaching for them even when it’s not raining or snowing. Read more
I needed something quick and cheap. This was perfect because it didn’t cost too much and they look very decent. They are great for rain in the summer bc they’re only up to your ankle so they’re not bulky or heavy. I haven’t tried in winter so I don’t know if they keep feet warm. But I only needed them for rain. And to be able to walk and commute in then. I live in nyc. And I walk everywhere so I can’t be wearing heavy bulky rain boots. They are light. The gray color is nice and goes with everything. They look cute and are true to size. I think they’re a little narrow for wide feet though. I have narrow feet so it fine for me or normal feet. But if you have WIDE feet then I do NOT recommend. Read more
