Wife's review -Size 8.5 true size fit & just a great comfortable warm waterproof boot. I need a quick on/off shin high snow boot with good traction and these are great. For the price I was slightly skeptical. Pleasantly surprised loosen top 3-4 runs of laces and foot easily slips in & laces pull easily I've even just tucked lace in sides of boots to quickly take the dogs out. I've had these through the first snow of NW PA and we're having single digit temperatures and I love these boots. I have name brand waterproof hikers but wanted higher shaft and these have not transferred cold ground from the sole and I've been outside at 2 pm frozen ice snow with our senior dog on a potty run. Warm! I'm not hard on my shoes in general and these are not mud muck type boots. They're cute stylish fashionable water-resistant insulated boots that have a great grip sole and work well outside in normal winter use. I LOVE these boots! I just came inside after spending an hour shoveling snow in 23 degree weather, and my feet were warm and cozy the entire time! Honestly, they kind of made me want to play in the snow like a little kid! lol So comfy too! I wore 2 pair of medium weight socks because I wasn't sure how warm they would keep my feet or how much room extra room I had. I couldn't remember what size I ordered and after searching my order history (couldn't find it there) and the boots themselves (there was a 42 tag on the tongue), I think it was a 10. Which is a bit of a size up for me.. I'm normally a 9/9.5 depending on fit. And there was plenty of room. They weren't too big, but I probably could've stuck with at least the 9.5. And did I mention the great price?? Honestly, can't go wrong with these boots, assuming they hold up (I've only worn them the one time so far). But they do seem sturdy and well made. Read many reviews before deciding on this pair of boots! The value for price is excellent! They are durable and have soles that are rugged and grip the ground so I haven't slipped when it was wet or snowy out. They're also really comfortable and keept my feet really dry and warm. I had purchased a different pair, but returned them for these because these are lined all the way through to the toes unlike duck-type boots and are rubbery inside in thefoot area.
