this sweater is soft and fuzzy but a bit boxy. i sized up hoping for more length but that just wasn't the case and the XL has long flowy arms that hang a bit below the cuff, pretty sure it's part of the design and the smaller sizes may have this oversized effect in the sleeves, too. that said, i should have sized down to a M or L for a more fitted look as this really looks best buttoned, rathe than worn open, given the cut and bias and the fact that it's on the thinner side and the inside reveals a contrasting white/black "herringbone" stitch that clashes with the black, in my opinion. i don't love the synthetic material on a sensory level but it is soft, lightweight and not itchy. i do think the price is about $10-15 high for the quality but it does wash well in cold and you can reshape it some when hanging to dry or drying flat but the label also says you can tumble dry on low, i just never do with these types of garments to avoid pilling.
