I think these are quite possibly the best pair of pants I've worn in years. I can't think of a single thing wrong with them: the barrel shape is subtle but flattering, and combined with the low-slung, drawstring waist and the unique "inside out" seams, thess have a certain "x factor" coolness quotient that is definitely noticable - without being in your face. At first I was sure these were linen; they have the same weight and the same rough, woven feel - but alas, they are not! White unbelievably, they're almost 100% polyester, but trust me, these trousers are light years away the nasty flared slacks of the 80s era I grew up in! Add in sizing that is spot on, and you have entered hall of fame territory for sure. Now let me just wax poetic for a minute about the color: this particular dark purple is muted enough to work as a neutral, and you'lll do no wrong if you pair these with some brown-hued animal-print slides and a brown or tan top. But style them with pastels - I chose an icy pink sleeveless blouse for my inaugural wearing - and the purple suddenly becomes much more vivid. And of course, we can't forget that elegant pin-stripe, which is what makes these pants so perfect. The designers could've stopped short of adding this detail, and still would've had some awesome pants on their hands. But stir in a subtle pinstripe and you've got style for days. Lastly, if you're pausing over the price, while it's true they're a little pricey for what is basically elevated pajama pants, but put these bad boys on, and you'll be throwing more money at your order screen. The purple color is great. The fit I am unsure of. I may have bought a size too big. They look less like the photos and more like old lady slacks at least on me. On me they have no barrel shape. Also the gathering at the top of the waist band to me is too much and gives it a different look than in the photos. The material is great and the purple color is beautiful. They appear to be good quality pants. They are long enough and washed and dried on low great. I am ordering a size smaller in a different color to see if the fit will be better hopefully more like the pics. I am 5’8” 145 lbs and bought the lg as suggested by amazon. Read more
These run small! It says loose in the description so I ordered my normal size and they were too small. I did like the pants so I reordered one size up. Hopefully those will work! Read more

These add a unique touch to your wardrobe while remaining versatile. I felt wonderful wearing them. FIT: They are true to size. High-waisted with long legs, they would drag on the floor if I didn't wear a small heel with them. Very comfortable. I'm 5'6", 165, and pear-shaped with shorter legs. These pants weren't quite what I expected. I was hoping for a linen feel, but the fabric is more like a textured curtain material. It isn't particularly soft or stretchy, but the fit is excellent. I sized up to an XL to be safe, and they fit great. I love the dark purple pinstripe design, and they're long enough for my frame. I think they will be a great choice for cooler autumn weather.
