I bought these boots in October for a few reasons. First for Civil Air Patrol, next for winter, as I live in Chicagoland area, we get snow and cold, I needed something I can walk my dogs in the snow and these are waterproof. Lastly, I have terrible feet, from plantar facets, flat feet, pain from a broken heel and bunions. The heel, arch, wide toe, waterproof all made this purchase PERFECT! These are pretty great boots. I took a chance on wide width because I wanted to wear heavy socks. They fit very true to size with nice room in the toe box. Took a little time to work with the laces but 1 and done because of the zipper. The sole is flexible so easy to walk. The tongue is gored to keep rain and snow out. 2 pull on tabs, 1 at heal and 1 on top of tongue. I wanted a waterproof boot that I could zipp up for easy on and off. This boot is pretty perfect. I gave these 2 stars because they are cute but they are by far not comfortable. The worst shoe/boot ever. These are semi lightweight but if you want sore feet after only 2 hours then buy these boots. I was mislead on the reviews with being comfortable, and they aren't. Definitely returning them. Also, they soles are slipper if you step in any water. You will definitely fall and slbust your butt.
