I'm 5'2 and close to 200lbs. I purchased the XL which is the size I usually purchase . The top was more than adequate over the midsection and at the hips and hem, with extra room to "flow". HOWEVER, the seam line in front over the bust where the gathers are was much snugger than many similar styles in other brands. The seam line had some transparent elastic sewn into it and which made it uncomfortably tight. I'm pretty good with a needle, so I took out the stitching and the elastic and regathered, and sewed everything back, leaving a bit more room from side to side. I would really recommend ordering a larger size than usual or expect to alter it. Fabric was lovely, soft, and with enough pattern that you cannot see through it. Read more
