These wide leg lounge pants are very comfortable and forgiving, with a loose, flowy fit from waist to hem that never feels tight anywhere. The fabric is 97% polyester and 3% elastin, which surprised me in a good way. It’s thin, airy, and flexible, so it doesn’t have that stuffy polyester feel. The waistband is a fully elasticized band with a functional drawstring, which makes the fit adjustable and easy, and comes with two side pockets. I chose black, which is not sheer at all, and while I’m now tempted to try the white version, I can’t speak to transparency there. The length is generous on me at 5’3” and 120 lbs in a size small, long enough to wear with sandals or heels. These can easily go casual with a tank or crop top, or dress up nicely with heels and a blouse. They arrived a bit wrinkled from the packaging, but polyester usually smooths out after washing. These wide-legged pants have a beautiful smooth drape reminiscent of silk charmeuse or rayon, but the poly/spandex blend means they don’t end up feeling crispy after laundering. I did put them into a mesh lingerie bag to prevent the fine weave from getting snagged. The pockets are *enormous*, although the lightweight fabric does mean that they’ll look a bit odd if you load them up with heavy lumpy stuff. The elastic waistband is stretchy enough that I didn’t have to adjust the drawstring from the original default. The pants showed no signs of shrinking, fading/bleeding, fraying etc after washing/drying in the mesh bag. I can’t tell in winter light whether they’d be see-through in full summer sun, but they seem decently opaque for now. Read more

Love it! It has pockets! It's long so you can't wear flats with these pants. They're light and flow like a skirt, and the drawstring isn't just a decorative piece. One size down would make it look more streamlined as in the model photos; normal size makes it very comfortable. The waist on the XL easily accommodates another 6 inches of waist. Read more
