I absolutely love these pants, I don't need any more clothes right now, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to order more. I'm tall and the fact they come in 3 lengths is wonderful. I'm 5'10 and 170 pounds. These fit wonderfully. Thanks to the high waist and wide legs they just glide over my hips, stomach and legs camoflaging all my flaws. At 61 I'm not as fit as I once was. I'm pear shaped and I really think these are quite slimming. The highways and loose fit make my stomach and behind look smaller. I used to be 370 pounds. Having lost 200 pounds if you were to see me in clingy jeans or shorts and a bathing suit just about anyone would look at me and think wow she must have been really big at one time, but with thesr pants they would never guess.I really think I could have fit into a large because these have some spandex however the xl was the right size and choice for me.. The fabric feels great against my skin. The wise waistband has belt loops so if you like a more tailored look you can achieve it with these pants. They are more comfortable then leggings and the dark gray color is perfectly for anything from a day at the office to date night or a girls night out. The 31" length hits just past my ankles ending on the top of my feet. They don't drag on the floor. I know that's a style.Some people like, but I have balance issues, and i'm glad that they stopped.Where they do. Honestly they really are a perfect fit. They have 2 deep pockets, a fake fly and I really like the 2 button detail on the waistband. I really can't say enough about how much I love them. I'm wearing them for the first time today so I haven't laundered them yet. They are very well made and I don't expect any issues laundering. Because they are polyester and spandex they seen wrinkle resistant. These come folded up in a zipper bag and a lot of times when I get pants.And they come folded up, they need to be ironed to get the fold blinds out, but that is not the case with these. I usually struggle to find pants that are long enough, especially dress pants. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these pants are plenty long enough for me. For reference, I'm 5' 9", 165 lbs, and I'm wearing a size medium. From my measurements, I could have ordered a size medium or a size large. If I wanted to wear a tight fitting shirt or crop top, I would be self conscious of the skin that bulges at the top of the waistband. Fortunately, I don't wear those types of shirts, so I don't see it being a problem for me. If you intend to wear shirts like that and are in between sizes, you might think about choosing the larger size for this reason. The pants are very comfortable to wear. I could lounge around the house in these for sure! As an added benefit, they have a bit of tummy control. I deducted a star because I feel like the pocket placement, even with nothing in them, makes my hips look wider than they actually are. If I were to put a lipstick or anything else in my pocket, I feel like this effect would be even more exaggerated. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons, and I like the pants enough to add them to my wardrobe. Read more
These are nice dress pants. They are comfortable and feel like baggy yoga pants. The brown is a little lighter than I hoped, but it’s still a nice color. The material is like thick yoga pants with a good amount of stretch to them. They hold up well to washing and drying in low heat. They are not fully wrinkle resistant, but they do seem to stay in a decent shape when if pulled from the dryer quickly and laid flat to cool off before folding. Size xs inseam 27in fits me well and I’m a size 0-2, 5’3”. The pants hit above the tops of my feet so they can be worn with flat shoes. The buttons are fake, but the pockets are real! The waistband is a piece of elastic. Overall these are nice pants and I would recommend them. Read more
First off, the fabric of these pants is buttery soft and super comfortable! Sizing is accurate. I’m not a huge fan of the pleats on the front, and even less of the elastic gather on the back of the waistband. This must be a part of the style, as the pants themselves are elastic, so the waistband could be smooth while still being elastic. I would far prefer it to be smooth, but it should be fine with shirts that cover the waistband. Another thing I don’t love about these pants is the front pockets being loose from the pant leg. You can see the outline of the pocket underneath. This would be alleviated by having the pocket be fixed to the pant leg. Overall, they are comfortable, and I will make use of them, but this is not my favorite pair of pants (style-wise) from this company. I really like the JOYCATCH brand of trousers and these dark gray pants are no exception. They are high waisted, while I’m short waisted. Combine that with my Apple-shaped figure, they sit very high across my abdomen, well above the navel. I don’t have many assets to fill in the seat either, so they’re also a bit long. Yet I still award four stars because they’re are comfy and look great. I even got two compliments the first time I wore them! Made of 80% polyester 20% spandex, they’re soft and really stretchy. If you get the ick from microfiber fabrics you might want to avoid these though. There are a number of details that make them quite stylish. They’re fairly flat-fronted so they’re slimming, yet there are pleats near the pockets, so they’re roomy; and the elastic around the back half of the waist band gives you a lot of flex while wearing them. The combo of the pleats with straight legs make them very flowy, almost like palazzo pants. Decorative double buttons, a faux fly, and belt loops allow you the option to tuck in your shirt, but the flowy style is also amenable to going untucked. The best thing about JOYCATCH trousers are the pockets. The front slit pockets are real pockets big enough for your phone or keys or whatever else you want to carry. Read more
