Overall, these gloves are good. The materials and stitching seem well constructed, they fit well, and they look great. They seem like they’ll hold up well and I haven’t noticed any weird smells, just the smell of new leather gloves. The little wrist detail is adorable. I do have a couple complaints though that take these down a star. They aren’t for really cold weather. I wore them today in single digit temperatures during the five minute walk from the garage into work. I had one hand in my pocket and the other hand giving a high five…. I mean, holding my coffee cup, lol. The hand that was in my pocket was toasty warm and wonderful, but the hand that was holding my coffee cup was completely numb and frozen by the time I got in. They’ve been much better above 20° or so. My only other complaint is that the interior lining is not sewed into the leather at the fingertips so they can be annoying to take off. The lining tries to follow your fingers out and can easily go inside out and be a pain to put back in place. You just have to be careful taking them off.
