More like indoor/outdoor slippers.

I ordered the Blue boots in the size 10, which is usually a 41, but I noticed these say 42 on the bottom, which allowed them to fit perfect with the fuzzy lining and some socks, something I was really wondering about and almost sized up for, but then decided not to. These are very well made with very nice stitching and sturdy zippers. The nylon uppers are more water repellent, than waterproof. The inside fur is very soft on your bare feet. I really love the style and the way they look on my feet. However, I would not consider them to be a durable option for outside wear, say hiking in the woods or snow. They have no arch support and absolutely no lateral support, as the sides are very flexible. That said, they would be perfect to use as indoor/outdoor slippers or for running to the grocery store, movies etc. They are best suited for urban locals and would pack well in a suitcase. Read more

Red color is more burgundy, zero support in the ankles

So first, the color is not even close to the red that I see in the product description. The closest representation of the color from my pictures would be the first one. I’d probably call it a dark burgundy. Still nice, but way different from the pictures online. Second, these boots offer almost no support at all. I’m happily using them as house slippers for the fall and winter, and they’re perfect for that. The sole is squishy and has very shallow treads, not ideal for snow. They zip on and are not a snug fit to keep heat in and wind out, but that’s fine indoors. My floors are cold and I take the dogs out often, so, again, they’re working as house shoes, not snow boots. We do get snow here in winter, and these would not be enough protection for heavy snow. They’re fine for a walk across the yard to the mailbox, but even in deep snow I’d probably wear heavier boots for that. I was going to rate them lower initially, but they are perfect for house slippers, so they’re very useful to me after all. I just keep them zippered up and slip them on and off. They’re even light enough that I can wear them while sitting on my bed or other furniture. So, no, they’re not at all good for snow in my opinion, but they’re great winter house slippers. Read more

Very lightweight!

These are great boots! They are super lightweight, they would be great to pack for camping. They are warm but not sweaty. They keep your feet nice and cozy. They fit true to size. The zipper is decent, could be a little better quality, but good for the price point. They work well. Read more

Modest Nimble Winter Booties

Ordered a pair black 11's sized for the 6' wife. They were a wee bit tight of a fit but acceptable. The material is thin and synthetic, designed to repel water and snow, etc. They are quite warm and light on the feet. The overall design differs from manufacturer's stock photos but it's just little details only noticeable to a keen eye. Despite the slightly tight fit the wife found them useful enough for her treks with the kids to the bus stuff during the early cold hours of the morning. Overall a tad bit pricey at an okay MSRP. Thin Quilted, Plush Lined Bootie

This review is for the "Women's Winter Snow Boots Fur Lined Waterproof Ankle Booties..." I normally wear size 7.5. Amazon recommended size 7 but I decided to go up to size 8 since there is no 7.5 and their size 39 is for both 7.5 and 8. The bootie is loose with room to add an insulated insole and heavy sock. The insole of the boot is very thin with little support above the rubber sole. The boot is made of thin nylon quilting and fully lined with plush but offers no ankle support and actually feels sloppy on the foot after wearing it several times.. The zipper is adequate on the outside of the foot and has extra lining to keep water out. I just don't think this will be very warm without heavy socks and an additional insole. The hard rubber bottom has a rounded pebble design which I think would be prone to slipping but I'll see this winter. There are no labels anywhere in or on the boot to show what it is made of. The bottom of the outside sole has a 39 molded in for size. I cannot recommend these for very cold weather. I found the same bootie elsewhere for less than current price here of $40. Read more

Warm, Lightweight, and Perfect for Cold Mornings!

I love these boots! I haven’t tested them in deep snow yet, but I’ve worn them in cold and frosty weather, and they’ve done great—no slipping at all. They’re incredibly light and warm, which I really appreciate since I wear them hiking up the hills here in North Dakota when walking my dog before work. I usually dislike heavy boots, but these are comfortable and easy to move in. The only small downside is that the zipper is on the left side, which is a little awkward for me as a right-hander, but the warmth, comfort, and fit more than make up for it. Highly recommend! Also they match my coat I got on amazon perfectly as well. Read more
