After using a regular hose end nozzle and spraying water everywhere I didn’t want to, using this sprayer is a joy. The on-off valve and the flow valve can be used one-handed and work great. It’s easy to control the spray when cleaning around the face which really helps. It seems kinda pricey, but after you use it you will be happy with your purchase. It's really well made, however the position of the spray head is very awkward. It makes it difficult to scrub in different orientations without accidently unscrewing it from the hose. If it was a straight barrel (like those detatchable kitchen faucet spray heads), it'd be much easier to use in all different orientations. Other than that, it does what it's designed to do. It gets water all the way down to their undercoat, and pulls away excess fur as you comb it along their coat. They also enjoy it more than the shower setting on the normal garden nozzle. This screws easily and securely onto my hose and it allows me to give my dog a more thorough shower outside. My dog doesn’t like a super hard spray so this is perfect for him - has enough water pressure to get the job done, but not so much that it scares him. The silicone brush is both flexible and sturdy without being too stiff, making it easy to get all of the grime out of my dog’s fur. I usually need to drag the hose around to different areas in the yard while hosing my dog down to avoid creating a big mud puddle, but since this controls and directs the water flow to go exactly where I want it, I’m able to stand in one spot. Being able to have the brush and water together in one hand, rather than holding a brush in one hand and the hose in the other, makes the job so much easier and quicker. Read more

The build quality of the metal and plastic parts of this device seem really solid and, honestly, I'm impressed. Very easy to turn on and off, absolutely stops water flow when off...all 5 star functionality. I broke it out a few weeks ago to use on my two German Shepherds and found it to work very, very well. The silicon skirt did a good job of keeping probably 90-95% of the water focused on the dogs, delivering it directly under their heavy coats and not onto my pants. By the time I finished, I was ready to start selling this thing door to door. And then.... 3 weeks later, it was time to wash the pups again. I was excited to again use my new handy gadget to get the job done quickly and easily. The first dog went great. I made a mental note to head to my laptop and add a stellar review. But two seconds into the second dog the silicon skirt ripped clean off. I was shocked at how easily the silicon tore as when it was whole it felt pretty sturdy. The thing is, I can't give this item less than 3 stars because even without the skirt it works incredibly well. I didn't notice that much more water getting on me than when the skirt was intact. While I may have ended up SLIGHTLY wetter, the second dog wash went just about as well as the first. I was going to try to return the item and see if maybe it was a one-off mistake, but I'm beyond my return window. I'll absolutely use this again, of course, but wish the skirt had remained intact for more than 3 dogs worth of washes. Read more

I swim in my own pool at least twice a day, year-round (I live in South Florida, so don't hate me!!). I wanted a way to wash my hair after swimming without having to take a shower, so after researching the horrendously expensive outdoor shower equipment, I bought this dog shower hose attachment. It is terrific! I love the rubber "fingers" that massage my scalp, as well as the frugal use of water. The only downside is that I must use a separate water shut-off valve between the hose and the scrubber for those moments when changing hair products. The scrubber warns that leaving water pressure on for "an extended period of time" can cause leakage, and indeed that is true. So rather than using the very convenient shut-off slide that is on the scrubber itself, I instead use the shut-off valve to relieve pressure on the scrubber. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Other than that, though, this is a great solution to my desire for a quick shampoo. Read more
