Purchased this DVD player in order to play DVDS from outside the United States. It is easy to use, has a large screen, and the picture quality is great. It also plays DVDS from the United States. When I view DVDS on this player I place it on a table or on my lap. When using it on my lap I place a hard flat surface, like a laptop computer, directly under the DVD player. This keeps the device level and avoids skipping. Another thing to consider is the location of the on/off switch. It is very hard to see if you don't have 20/20 vision. It's location is on the right side of the DVD player, right next to where the plug, plugs into the device. It is dark and very small. I needed a flashlight to find it. Overall, this DVD player is a great value. The size alone makes it worth the price. The fact that it plays DVDS from inside and outside the United States makes it worthwhile. The battery is great and can play 2 DVD movies with its 5500mah battery( max 4 hours). I think the best feature of it, is the device picks up where you left off for interrupted playback. I am very satisfied with this product. The unit is lightweight for its size which should not be confused with flimsy. The push button controls are tight and responsive The audio playback is clear, crisp with no hums or buzzing. I gave it 4 stars, not five as the battery life once charged is only about 90 minutes but if you are using it at home, no big deal, just leave the charger in. I presume that the rechargeable batteries are behind a back panel that have screws on it and if I should see any battery degradation down the road I'll replace them. The instructions are fairly clear and relatively easy to understand although the unit is intuitive and you can figure out what all the controls do by trial and error. I GIVE THIS 5 STARS! I compared your DVD player with other players on Amazon and chose yours. Although it gave the dimensions, I was still in total shock and excitement. As you can see from the photos I was using a very small DVD player that I thought was large at the time I bought it. When I saw the box, I was like, they put the player in this big box? Then when I opened it and got the DVD player box out, I said oh no they sent me a laptop by mistake, because the actual product box was large. I opened it and saw all the accessories and I didnt remember reading all this was coming with it. Then the warranty that was put in the box that they would take care of any problem I have, and I still said the DVD player is wrapped in all this wrap and it will be small. Boy was I surprised. As you can see its large, beautiful and very sturdy, not cheap at all. And there was a card in it that i can get a bag or headset free....I am so excited that I picked the right one! Purchased 2 of these for my kids' homeschool videos in Aug 2019, it is now April 2020 and they are both showing many problems. One of them had the play button completely break off inside of it and now we have to use the remote exclusively. The second one now started making strange noise this week and now it won't recognize the disc. Basically we got about 120 days out of them, so $1 per use. I guess you will have to weigh that out for yourself, but I will probably be looking for a different option. Read more
