Wooden Jewelry Box Pros: The box is beautifully built and finished. The inside feels deluxe & appears very fine. There are plenty of necklace-hanging hooks with a pouch to hold those long necklaces in to keep them from getting tangled with the other jewelry at the bottom of the box. There is much dedicated room for ring storage and four bins for other miscellaneous items. The case is smoothly finished and shuts cleanly. This box was too small for my purposes. It’s about the size of a hardcover book (see pic). It is very lightweight, and seems like it is probably pine with a stain. It is NOT especially smooth, either. If you look at the grain in the images, you can feel the texture. There are some cracks in the wood where the hinges were installed (see pix), and some uneven staining. Read more
