I love this thing - I was worried it wasn't going to be big enough for my needs when wresting my hand/wrist against the screen (I have a 10.2" iPad, and my hands are very small, for clarity), but it works just fine and raises my iPad off the surface just enough to be comfortable when drawing. I am a novice when it comes to art, so as a beginner stand, I would certainly recommend it to others. It feel sturdy, and the range of tilting options is generous, too. I also keep my iPad in a ZUGU case, and they pair together well, with zero issues. The pen holder is a nice bonus. I love using this ipad stand. I have the smaller ipad pro (11") and it perfectly fits it. I don't think it would hold the bigger size that well for drawing but I haven't tried it. I love the height adjustment on the legs, I find the first level to be the best angle for me. Read more

I'm a full-time designer and illustrator so I have iPad stands in my home and at the office. I actually have a different version at home that was cumbersome to bring back and forth between places, so I bought this one for office and it's great! It holds my 12.9 iPad with no fear of wobble or tipping over, so definitely sturdy. It folds down and can be tucked into my backpack, larger purse, or tote bag. I love this one in particular because it doesn't require me to take off the existing case on my iPad, unlike the one I have at home! Read more

I love this stand so much that I bought two! One for upstairs in my art studio and one for downstairs for the kitchen table or breakfast bar for when I draw during breakfast or lunch. I love how easily I can change the height/angle! Love love love! Only negative (and it's not really negative, just a preference) is where the apple pencil holder is located. I feel it would be better at the top. I do also love the cushion grip at the bottom for my wrist as I'm drawing. Read more
