I just completed my first trip with the Nova. It met every expectation. Room for everything needed for a five day trip. No problem carrying a suit and sport jacket with pants. It moved through the airport easily and I was especially pleased how well it handled movement in the airplane aisles. It fit the overheads perfectly. This thing is a piece of garbage. It’s very high-quality leather, but they paired it with the junkiest zipper system possible. You can’t have the best leather materials and then pair it with zippers that break so easily. Literally took it on my first plane ride and the zipper broke. The zippers that didn’t break are really poor quality and I can tell are cheapies. Really sad that the company tried to make a good product but cheaped out on one of the most important materials. The media could not be loaded. I first saw this bag on Instagram after viewing about 10 other bags with a similar design: Rolling duffel with built-in garment bag or stacking garment sections. I saw great reviews for this bag on Instagram, but some people talked about it taking a really long time to receive the bag after they had purchased it. I found the bag on Amazon and got it in two days. This was certainly the most expensive of the ones that I looked at, but the quality just stood out far and above the others that I was considering. I received the bag today and I’m not disappointed. I had seen some negative comments about the zippers but they seem to be perfectly suitable for the use and wear and tear that you would expect of a case like this. Full disclosure I have not traveled with it yet, but I will be using it soon on a week-long trip to Boston. There are a number of extra little touches that really sold me on this bag above all the others. The leather grain is gorgeous. This is definitely a quality bag and I don’t mind paying for quality. The only negative that I see so far is that I really don’t see a way to lock the bag. So this is not a bag that you would ever want to check. It does seem just slightly smaller than the other duffels with similar design, but I think that just makes it easier for carry-on. That was my primary goal with this duffel, to make it so that I don’t have to check a bag even for a week long trip. I also like that the wheels and handle are built into the bottom of the bag and they really don’t take up very much room. I did not like the other bags that I was seeing on Instagram where the wheels and handle were separate and you had to take them off and put them inside the bag. Yuck. I am absolutely loving the design, quality, and size of this bag. Very functional & will really help me to pack more thoughtfully. The price was a stretch but if this becomes my go-to carry-on, then it’s worth every penny. Seriously consider this bag! Read more
