I have had this Shredder for 6 or 8 months now, the design is great, seems to be really good quality, I have had zero jams. Works very well, I like that it takes 12 sheets, saves me sometime with shredding bank statements or credit card statements or old tax papers from more than 7 years ago. Not extremely loud, great value for the money. I highly recommend. Update. I have now had this a year and a half and it is starting to jam quite a lot, even when I only put 8 or 10 pieces of paper in it will not shred in the center, I have to put it on the side. Chops up the papers quite a bit, pretty darn secure. Fits well under my desk. I might be used to my old shredder but this one seems a bit slower, but it can certainly shred a good pile of paper all at once along with a staple. I haven't tried a DVD/CD yet but I rarely have to shred anything like that. Shipping was fast, the item was protected well - no damage.
