So the front panels are clear plastic with lace over lay. It does create a very beautiful see-through lace but the plastic is shiny underneath. It's firm with a bit of give to it. So it does provide a flattening effect but a bit uncomfortable when sitting at the corners are quite pointy. The corset lacing is purely decorative and does not allow for a custom fit. The elastic band is wide and very stretchy. Overall, I love the unique look of the lace but don't particularly like the shininess of the plastic underneath. Read more

I really like this belt it’s very unique. The front part is a very thick plastic type of material so it’s very durable. I did go down a little bit and size with my Waze because I wanted it to be more fitted and it definitely has that. It has a good amount of stretch to it. It’s very easy to where the plastic material is great because it won’t fold or bend, like other belts like this tend to do. I think for the price this is excellent it’s very unique. Unfortunately, I ordered a size too big but I'll make it work by wearing it over a dress with a thicker material. The novelty of the transparent pvc material is just too unique for me not to work it into my wardrobe some kind of way. It's thick and sturdy so it will definitely hold up over time. Love it!
