Tiny Truck, Huge Personality—The 1/16 D12 Nails It

RAHJuly 9, 2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're even remotely into the Kei truck craze, this 1/16 WPL D12 is the ultimate micro showstopper. It's got attitude, old-school charm, and way more capability than you’d expect from something that fits in your backpack. Why It Rocks: - Mini-Meets-Mighty: The scale might be 1/16, but the fun is full-size. This isn’t just a gimmick—it’s a legit RC with proportional steering, solid torque, and surprisingly responsive control. - Kei Culture Cool: Kei trucks are hot right now, and this one rides the wave perfectly. It pulls smiles at car shows like a celebrity in a crowd—especially when people realize it’s not just a display piece. - Customizer’s Dream: Lights, paint, decals, lifts—this thing was born to be modded. Whether you want to match your full-size build or create a fantasy fleet, the D12 is a blank canvas begging for upgrades. - Off-Road Style, Street Vibe: It’s not a crawler and it’s definitely not a drift machine—but it is pure fun. Smooth on pavement, playful on dirt, and right at home cruising the garage floor during late-night shop sessions. - Perfect RC for Car Enthusiasts: I’ve driven mine at meets, parked it next to real builds, and drawn a crowd every time. It’s not the fastest RC I own—but it’s one of the coolest by far. If you're looking for an RC that brings show-stopping charm and hobby-grade potential without being too serious, this D12 hits the sweet spot. Small truck, big reactions—every single run. Read more

Has some issues!

jeremy falascoJune 18, 2025

I ordered this RC truck with the intention of replacing the truck body with a 3D printed car body. I have yet to decide what make and model car body I want to use but this RC truck has a nice chassis and drive system. Unfortunately there are some pretty big issues I'm going to have to figure out how to correct. If your not planning on modding this RC truck, these are the issues I am having with it which are more irritating than anything. The first is the truck doesn't respond right away, and takes multiple attempts when you want it to go in reverse. It does this even if your holding the remote right next to it, so it's not a distance problem and I haven't figured out how to correct it. Another issue is the truck tips pretty easily when turning at speed, so in my case I have to constantly walk over to it and pick it up and put it back on it's 4wheels. These are not major problems and the truck does work and it is fun to drive once you get the hang of it, but these issues get annoying after awhile and takes the fun out of playing with it. You are able to align the wheels by turning a little knob on the remote left/right to get it driving straight which is a nice touch. I'm giving 3.5 stars for now because I also feel it's overpriced for it having these issues. If I can figure out how to fix the issues when modifying then I will bum it up to 4.5 stars Read more

Quick turns

Arthur G.July 6, 2025

Cool little truck. It handles better than most rcs ive tried out where it stands out is its turning radius since its right at the front it cuts thru turns quick. Its definitely not for off road or aa rock crawler. Its only 2Wd and the suspension isnt getting you over any big rocks. The only issue with it is that it took a tumble when my nephew crashed into it and it threw off the steering completely. Now it just pulls hard to the right and i tried adjusting with the remote still pulls all the way. Im guessing when it tumbled the wheels where turned to the right and the gears must of jumped out and set with them at that angle? Idk but other than that was the only issue. It has cool lights that light up also Read more

Definitely recommend for an entry level toy RC. Fun!

HHJune 20, 2025

For what it is, this is a fun little RC truck. It's 1:16 scale and I'd consider it toy grade v.s. hobby grade. It has independent suspension on all four wheels. Pretty stable, not super fast or super powerful, but it's a hoot play with. Our granddaughter loves it. It's also very quiet as apposed to some of the 4X4 RC basher trucks that are sold. The best thing about it is that it is not so powerful that you have a hard time controlling it. Because of that, it's actually a pleasure to play with. Read more

Cool little scale detailed truck. Not really an off-road vehicle though

Daniel P.July 2, 2025

Cool little toy truck, it's definitely not a crawler or an off-road type of RC truck though with very little suspension travel and no real options to upgrade it with the way it's designed. The motor is attached directly to the rear. Although it is two-speed. It's cool to tool around on a smooth surface. It's a fun little toy, but it's definitely again not made for any kind of off-roading as it's only two-wheel drive as well Read more
