Wrangler jeans have always fit me better than Levi's or other jeans. That's just my shape from when I was a 30" waist to now when it's 36". As I cannot lengthen my inner leg size and my waist ain't ever gonna shrink back 6 inches slimmer I will stay with the brand that has always felt the best from new to knee-less. Good strong denim fabric, sturdy stitching and fast dyes - I'm sticking with Wranglers in both black and blue. Go with what fits you comfortably and looks good. Read more

What separates these from other mass sellers is the 1" increment inseam sizing. That was a big selling point and is greatly appreciated. The fit and finish falls a bit short of Levis and Lees but is not bad and understandable given the price point. One such example is the excessive amount of material past the button hole which pokes out unless you have a belt on to keep it in check. First impressions is these are a pair of no frills but durable jeans. I did take accurate measurements when new and after washing and drying (medium heat). UPDATE 2: Bought a second pair. In perfect condition. No flaws. UPDATE: Supplier Yoder just sent me a message that these have 5 Loops, not 7. This is INCORRECT. The pair I just received Definitely have Seven (7) belt loops. Excellent! These Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Classic Fit jeans checked all the boxes, including price. I wanted a very dark blue, heavy-duty New denim with 7 belt loops. I looked at jeans up to $60 per pair and searched for a couple of hours, including going to the many manufacturers' web sites. I absolutely Hate the gimmick of "pre-washed", "acid washed", "worn", and even jeans with holes. To me, the 50% of the life expectancy is chemically destroyed before you first try them on. I wanted dark blue new denim, like these Wranglers. I bought a cheap pair of jeans ($14) at Sam's, and they were ok, but had only 5 belt loops, which means there is only 1 loop holding up the back, which is not enough. The pictures were crummy and did not show the number of belt loops, but one commenter mentioned the 7 loops. Now that I am wearing them for the first time, I agree wholeheartedly: 7 loops is superior to 5 loops. I need 40 X 29 which is not always available. Finally, I was surprised when these were actually Cheaper, at $30, than nearly all other jeans I studied. I just ordered another pair. The choices for fit include "Fit as expected." Actually, I didn't expect to fit at all, but I bought these and a black pair. I lost 35 pounds (illness, not will power) and three inches from my waist. I kept tripping over my 40" Wranglers, so it was time to bite the bullet. Besides, Amazon's return policy is fantastic even for clothing. They were shipped in two separate boxes (?), the black coming a day before the blue. I put them on, and they were PERFECT. I wore them for three days, and the only issue I had was that the side seams chafed when I was sitting. It was really annoying, so I washed them, and the chafing with softener went away. The black chafed; the blue, which came in the net day, didn't. I originally gave these 4 stars, then read my own review, and bumped it to 5. They fit perfectly, both waist and length, and the price was the most reasonable, half what Levi's on sale were. I did go to a department store, and the Levi's and one other brand were 4-6 inches too small in the waist! I brought my wife's handy tape measure (she's been sewing for over 50 years, and always carry one), and sure enough, The other jeans were the wrong size in both waist and length. So, when I say that I didn't expect them to fit as expected, I had good reason. Love my Wrangler's. Don't know why I wore Lee's and Levi's for 25 years before discovering these. Read more

I have ordered several pairs of these because my husband likes the way they fit. However, invariably they get multiple holes in them within a few months. At first I thought we just got a bad fabric batch, but it happens every time. They look terrible and I won’t be ordering any more of them. Read more
