per my wife: I'm a new mom, and I've developed a bad case of tendonitis in my wrist. I've been using random ice packs I had at home, but hated icing, because they would never stay in place, wouldn't stay as cold as I'd like, and I couldn't do anything while icing. I came across this ice pack and use it several times a day because it has given me so much relief, and it's so versatile! The hole for the thumb area is great so that i can wrap the pack easily on my hand and wrist. For someone who hated icing, I now look forward to it, because it has helped the inflammation in my wrist. I'd purchased this for my wife, who was recently diagnosed with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, and then two weeks ago had her release surgery for it. We appreciate that there are two ice packs with this wrap, so that my wife was able to alternate between the two; we also appreciate how cold it gets and lasts while in use. It seems that each PhysioNatural product comes with a little prize scratch off (at least, for the 3 separate products I've recently purchased), with PhysioNatural having been incredibly helpful and accommodating after emailing them the winning code. (In this specific case/order, I was given a free Aromatherapy Eye Mask. Haven't used it yet, but it looks like it will be comfortable and handy later on.) I've been having issues with my wrist from golf and an old surgery that I've wanted to relieve swelling on it without having to just sit to balance an ice pack or constantly holding it against my wrist. This wrap does exactly that. In fact it also came in handy the day it arrived cause it works as a good headwrap too for when I hit my head on an overhanging counter cleaning my place that day. The only down side is it might be too good. While it fits fine and what not, the insulation from the ice pack allows the cold to seep in so well I have to let the ice packs warm up or put some EXTRA fabric between my skin and this wrap. This wrist wrap has been a lifesaver (I can type again!!!!) - and not only for me but for my husband who has bursitis -as well. He has worn it after hot yoga and it is incredible at reducing his pain and swelling. Not only does it provide support and compression it stays cold for a very long time. It's everything that I expected it to be and more and I highly recommend it. Not only does it fit nicely on my wrist and around my hand, and thumb area but it also wraps around my husband elbow and doesn't move around. I especially like to use it when my carpal tunnel flares up. I sit at a computer & keyboard & type at least 7 hours a day for a living, so I consider it a necessity in my life. I purchased this cooling wrap to help with inflammation after wrist surgery and physical therapy. I've used it almost every day for the last few months, and though there are a lot of things to like, there are significant design flaws. I will continue to use it because, frankly, it does what I need it to do and I already paid for it. However, I don't think I would purchase it again or recommend it to a friend. Pros: - Stays cold for a little over 30 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time for my use - Soft material that doesn't irritate my scar site - Works on both hands and can be wrapped to focus the cold on the front or back of the hand - Can be used on other areas of the body Cons: - Wraps very unevenly and has gap areas between the cool packs, which means about two inches in the middle of the wrap are not cold. This gap causes a "buckle" when continuing to wrap around the arm, keeping the ice pack from reaching the skin (you can see this in the photos I included) - Can actually be so cold coming out of the freezer that I have to use a barrier, usually a long sleeve jacket with thumb holes, to keep from damaging my skin. -Too clunky and loose to be able to use while doing other activities Read more

I did a search on Amazon one night as I was dealing with unbearable pain in my hand due to tendonitis and I stumbled across this wrist wrap! I was very tired of having to hold an ice pack awkwardly on my wrist for 20 minutes and not be able to do anything else. This came very quickly in the mail and as soon as I got it I knew it would become a very valuable part of my daily routine to relieve my wrist pain throughout the day. It comes with two ice packs, which is extremely helpful because I can always have one in the freezer ready to go. It’s very easy to wrap around my hand. Once I wrap my hand I can proceed to do some thing else… No longer having to sit for 20 minutes at various times throughout the day while I ice my hand. I use it first thing in the morning and then right before I go to bed… And then of course at various times throughout the day as needed. I have already referred my friends and family who struggle with hand issues to try this out to relieve some of their pain. I did notice that it comes with a diagram that shows you the many different ways you can wear this so it’s not just for your hand.
