I am so impressed with this tote bag. I needed a sturdy big tote to carry my laptop and all my work stuff to/from home since we are only in the office two days of the week right now. It holds all my folders, laptop, water bottle, umbrella, lunch bag and a sweater. It's seriously can hold a ton! The canvas is nice and thick. It's a structured bag. I rolled it up and smooshed it to make it a bit more pliable and also to bring out the color variations in the canvas. It's a very nice army green color. The handles pass the elbow test and are the perfect length. They are comfortable on my shoulder even when I stuff the bag. It has two large outside pockets, my kindle fits perfectly in one and my planner in the other. The inside pockets hold my phone and sunglasses. I've been using this bag for a couple months now. It's held up well. I've even taken it out in the pouring rain and can attest it is waterproof. I did make a modification to the top of the bag. The top flares out and I like a square bag so I pinched in a couple inches at the top and sewed it. Now it's a nice square shape (see the last photo). Why is this described only for women? I wanted a very large tote as I am a man who typically carries around a lot of stuff. I was looking for a good looking tote to take on quick outdoor excursions and grocery runs. I was drawn to this product because it was extra large and for the waxed canvas material. First, the look and feel of the waxed canvas and leather straps are classic matching my aesthetic tastes. The waxed canvas gives the bag structure and a degree of toughness which I value in a bag. I’ve loaded it with groceries and have carried over 15lbs of goods in it while walking several miles. With all that weight and stress, the actual leather handles did not disappoint. Can’t believe this bag is this good quality and at this price! I am super impressed. I just received it today and I am in love so far. I love tote bags and use them regularly for work (I’m a grad student and a college professor) so I lug a lot of stuff and in the past, I’ve used LL bean boat totes which I LOVE. Since the LL bean is fav tote I will be comparing it to the Wudon tote based on my preferences. They are extremely sturdy and hold up so well with lots of weight overtime and because I am plus sized, it’s hard to find tote bags that fit comfortably over my shoulder. Which is why this bag I got is so impressive! The canvas is thick and I can tell it’s coated in that water repellent wax so it is a little stiff on arrival. (Note: if you wash this, you will also be washing off the wax part, so if u want it to continue to be water proof, I’m guessing you gotta buy your own fabric wax or whatever it’s called). I am a little worried that the canvas is on the thinner side, and the wax seems to mask it, making it seem sturdier than it is (only time will tell tho). The strap drop fits great over my shoulder. The leather seems to be of good quality and the canvas seems thick and sturdy. I like that it also holds shape when standing up and full. I can fit SO much stuff in here it’s crazy! My LL Bean tote was stuffed and can fit quite a lot, but this fits all my stuff and I STILL have room! I also love that it has two front pockets and and inside pocket. I am always a little annoyed that the LL bean tote doesn’t have any pockets so my keys just get lost at the bottom of the tote most of the time, but with the wudon tote, I can use the front pocket for my keys and it makes it so much easier to access. Ok, so it fits a lot of stuff, but how does it feel on the shoulder? Well it feels pretty comfortable. I think my LL bean is slightly more comfortable? But I would have to really take this tote for a whirl if I want to give a solid answer on comfort and how it travels etc. Another draw of this is the price point. My LL bean was probably $20 ish more than this tote and while my LL bean is still my favorite tote, this is a very close second (so far). The only thing upon arrival that I was like ?? About was the button closure. It seems just ever so slightly flimsy. I don’t know if I’m being picky but it seems like it could be stronger and less flimsy, but only time will tell if it holds up. I’m going to update this review after a while of using it, but my first impressions are so far very good! I also put my LL bean tote next to the Wudon tote for size comparison, in case anyone is interested or wondering. Update 10/01/2024: bag is holding up great so far! Obviously if it’s full, it’s going to weigh on your shoulder a bit, but I think the straps have held up well and the canvas seems to be in tact. I even came back for the khaki brown color and I think I like the color better than the green! Just a personal preference. So far I am in love. My only qualm so far is that I wish the button was stronger. If there’s a lot in your bag, the button will likely come undone because of the weight. It will stay buttoned while on your shoulder but once you set it down, it will likely unbutton if that makes sense. Read more

Love it, green is brownish, could be greener I suppose; but it's still beautiful and holds all plus more. It has a zipper pocket inside and two generous drop pockets. This fits my wallet, phone, keys perfectly. Big beautiful rain proof tote! Very pleased with this purchase. Read more
