Just recently moved to a neighborhood with people trying to break into vehicles and houses. So this product was a necessity. As long as you buy the plug and play mounting adapter with power cord plate that wyze offers along with this, its nearly plug and play installation. Simply twist wires together with the plate that's sold separetely, mount to wall, screw into surface, then plug in. Installation was very simple, and easy. Image clarity is amazing, both day and night. Same as the doorbell camera of theirs I bought. Battery life isn't concern due to the ability to plug into 3 prong outlet with the kit they sell separate. Light is bright enough to illuminate the Marianas trench. Lots of customization to setup the range you want detection in, how bright light is, alarms or silent, etc. App is decent. Also can use sd storage for local storing video recorded by device instead of subscription if you'd prefer. Read more

WYZE CAMERAS ARE THE BEST! This thing is so great, the notifications are awesome, the video quality is incredible. The auto zooming and focusing is awesome. Additional update. I contacted Wyze customer support because the camera totally stopped working. It turns out that my camera had some technical issues all along, so they sent me a new one under my warranty. Since I re-installed it over a month ago, it has been working flawlessly. I wanted to update my review rating, as the code 15 connection problem seemed to be caused by either the APP itself or my Apple phone. After reloading the APP and shutting down my phone and restarting it the camera came back online, without unplugging the camera. Still learning the APP and seems to be going well. Install was easy and worked nice for a day. Now having issues with maintaining connectivity with the camera using the phone APP. Keep getting the error code 15. I can tell my WiFi is working, as other devices are communicating. The first suggested step in fixing it is to unplug it. However, this is in my second home, so unplugging it is not that easy. I will now have to drive an hour to unplug it, then install an WiFi switch so I can "unplug it" remotely, which seems ridiculous to have to do. What if I was in Europe. I searched the internet for the code 15 and it seems it happens often. Now the camera is useless, it shouldn't be that difficult to reset. Read more

Great camera that has a wide shot view. I like that it picks up just about everything. It tells you whether its a person or a vehicle. Its a snow storm right now where I live and for the first time I have a complaint about this camera. I cant see a thing because its covered in icey snow. Im hoping the snow doesn't freeze on there because that would be so disappointing as I cannot reach it myself to clean it off. If you live in a area where it snows alot, you might wanna think twice about this camera. Or place it in a sheltered area, maybe that can work. Also wifi needs to be near or you'll need an extender because the distance matters. Sometimes it lags when the wifi isn't near. Read more

I have between my home, my mother's and mother-in-law's 16 cameras covering inside/outside, front door etc. I was somewhat happy when I bought Wyze first version of the Floodlight, but when I was the specs on the pro, I bought it on Prime day. I just got around to installing it and have to praise Whyze for a SUPER install process, the adapter that seals and connects the camera is expertly designed and Wyze threw in something I have had a need for, a strap with a clip to hold the camera while you are trying to balance on a ladder 15ft in the air while you twist the wires. The clip on strap worked great, I switched out my Whyze Floodlight 1st version with the pro in about 7 minutes. The 180 video is exactly what I needed, I can see my entire driveway and my backyard. The other huge improvement, you don't have to go up the ladder with your phone to try and get the Floodlight to connect, it uses bluetooth and connects while you are near it, that was very thoughtful. The Floodlight acts like my Wyze 2K pro camera but is 180. Wyze, please come out with a 2K pro 180 like the Floodlight Pro, I would be able to record my entire porch. Would I buy it again: YES I plan to get one for my backyard as it could cover it completely. I highly recommend Wyze Cameras, except their door bell cameras. Wyze really deviated from what Wyze is supposed to stand for. I have a Ring Pro and it works wonderful but I wish Wyze had one that worked like Ring does and had the standard Wyze option of inserting an SD card, wize up Wyze and ditch your current doorbell design.
