This product is amazing. I travel often in the church/worship venues and protecting my hearing has always been a priority—but I never wanted to sacrifice sound quality. As someone who works in the live events industry, I’ve tried a lot of earplugs, and these are some of my favorites. They’re comfortable enough to wear for long periods and do a great job of reducing volume while keeping the sound clear. As a semi-professional musician (electric guitar, hard rock) I've learned to be careful about hearing protection and these earplugs do the trick. Silicone holds up better for reuse than foam and these also have the flat frequency response that I'm looking for, to lower the sound level while not distorting or making some frequencies hard to hear. These also work well for events like professional concerts, air shows, and other loud venues to bring the noise down to a comfortable level but still hear what's going on. I also had my daughter try the smaller size as she can be sensitive to loud sounds even in everyday situations. She seemed happy with them. One difference from other "pro" plugs I've used is that these have a pretty small tab that sticks out and is not much to grab onto when you go to remove them, so you have to fiddle around a little bit to grab onto it to pull it out. Not a big deal, just not quite as fast and easy to remove as other plugs I've worn. The trade-off is that they are almost invisible when you are wearing them, if that matters to you. Read more

As someone with sensitive ears who suffers from tinnitus and is constantly on the lookout for new products to use to protect my ears while still providing good sound quality, I was excited to order these. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by how they perform. The earplugs did seem like they are high quality and sturdy. They were soft and relatively comfortable, and I appreciate that two sizes were included; since I have small ears the smaller size fit me best. I also like that they came with both a tiny storage case, and a larger storage case. So the aesthetics and build of these earplugs were nice. But I found the function to be lacking. First off, I found that the earplugs didn't shield that much sound...music was still very loud when I had them in. I was able to easily converse when I had them in...it did help with that...but for me, they didn't knock the noise level down enough for my sensitive ears. Additionally, I didn't find the sound quality to be all that great when wearing them. I ended up switching out to my cheap-o foam earplugs, and found that in addition to providing better protection, surprisingly the sound quality that came through the foam earplugs was better than what came through the Ear-Goes X 15 plugs. So for me...these where underwhelming in functionality, and I just don't find these to be a good value for the money, given that I got better ear protection and sound quality from foam plugs that were around 1/10 the price. These worked pretty well. They weren't the most comfortable in my ears but they do block out some noise without lessening the quality of the music. They have a tiny little case to make it easy to stick them in a purse or pocket as well. I didn't notice too much difference in the two sizes provided. They are clear if using earplugs at a concert makes you feel self conscious. They're probably only worth it if you go to a lot of concerts but they could also be used, I suppose, if you're sensitive to how loud movies at the theater are or similar experiences. Read more
