Xbox 360 Tony Hawk Ride Skateboard Bundle Limited Edition Red

I got this as a Christmas present for my nephew - so I cant yet comment on it's durability or function. It was shipped super fast. Although it was packaged in a larger box very well and wrapped with bubble wrap, the original packaging shows a bit more wear than you normally see on a new product. In the pictures the deck of the skateboard looks smaller....but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it was about the same size and an actual skateboard deck. It's thicker than an actual deck and it has, what looks to be, sensors on all sides of the skateboard so that the Xbox can "see" what you are doing. I can't review the gameplay because I never had the opportunity to make it past calibrating the board. I tried for over 4 hours to get this awful product to work. I tried everything forums and reviewers suggested to make this work on my Xbox 360, but to no avail, and it's not like you can just play the game with a different controller, you NEED the board to play the game. Don't be fooled into trying this product like I did because the price seems right. Unless, of course, you have money to burn and enjoy the massive headache and burning rage that comes along with this game. I implore you, DON'T BUY THIS. Read more

Hoping this board lasts longer than the first. My 10 year old got it for his birthday and it las just a couple of days. Was used on carpeting and he is just a little guy. Not sure whay it didn't work but we are on our second one. So far so good. Read more

I got this game for my kids so they would have a get off the couch game. The game is pretty cool, but hard for non skateboarders. Board movement is probably very lifelike. My kids did not play on it too long because it was hard. They do not ride skateboards. It has a nice tutorial, but requires some coordination and skill. Read more

I am a huge Tony Hawk Pro Skater Fan. So for the price they were selling it for I couldn't not purchase this item. Think of it as the first and probably last ever of its kind. Like Rock band or Guitar hero this item will be well collected like the power glove of old. From this stand point the purchase was well justified and received. Read more
