I installed this in my rig a little over a week ago and have to say it has outperformed my wildest expectations. It boosted frame rates and visual quality right out of the box - all without tweaking a bunch of settings. Installation was simple and it fired up right away. The existing AMD Adrenalin software recognized it and set it up without issue. It even retained my individual profile settings for each installed game, and performance was amazing - better than I expected - all without downloads, updates and messing with settings. I loved my previous RX 6800 XT, but didn't know what I was missing. There is a noticeable improvement in visual quality and stability with the RX 9070 XT. Images flow more smoothly without any tearing or even the tiniest bit of lag. It also handles dark scenes extremely well, without even slight pixelation. Everything is clear and amazingly well defined, which is huge to me as someone who doesn't see as well in the dark as I used to. I also noticed a marked improvement in visual quality with online meetings, which helps me as a full-time remote worker. A few words of caution before you buy... This is a MASSIVE card, at just over 14" long. Check measurements before you buy to be sure it'll fit in your rig. (It came close with mine.) Also, due to its size and weight, it comes with an extra support. Even though that's adjustable, it may not work in every situation. If you think you'll need extra support, you'll want to measure and plan ahead. Lastly, this card is a power-hungry monster, requiring three 8-pin PCIE connections. Make sure your existing power supply can support it and that you have enough cables. I'm sure I'll eventually tweak Adrenaline settings for different game titles, but for now I have to say that it's refreshing to just drop something new into my machine and have it just work. I don't have tons of time, so I'd rather spend it enjoying my games than researching and testing settings. Thank you giving us a product that does what it's supposed to, AMD! Would I buy it again? Absolutely! Would I recommend it to others? Without hesitation! Am a I happy game nerd? Ecstatic! Read more

Xfx cooked with this one. Pretty quiet. Stays cool, especially when you turn zero rpm off, although it never stays off. Big. Works amazing, even when recording/streaming at 1440p for YouTube. Worth it in my opinion. Read more

The XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming Edition is a powerhouse. It runs flawlessly in my AMD build with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS Crosshair X870E Hero, G.SKILL DDR5-6000 CL28 memory, and ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB cooler. It crushes 4K gaming and performs perfectly with my HIVE Index VR headset, with stable frame rates and excellent thermal management under heavy loads. Originally, I installed everything in the Fractal Design Torrent, which is a beautiful and well-ventilated case. Unfortunately, it couldn’t accommodate both the long triple-slot GPU and the front-mounted 360mm AIO radiator without clearance issues. I upgraded to the Corsair 7000D Airflow full-size tower, which offered the space and layout flexibility needed to properly house and cool this hardware. The GPU’s build quality, quiet operation, and tasteful RGB are on point. If you’re building a top-tier AMD system with VR or 4K in mind, this card paired with a spacious full tower like the 7000D is a winning combo. Read more

AMD really has stepped up their game in GPU. It runs cool without needing an undervolt. My old 3080ti needs to be undervolted and curved just right and still gets hotter on lesser games than the 9070xt . Nvidia and AMD are both putting out great cards now... I am glad I went team red this go around Read more
