This is a great lighter. I have had several other "top" brands and some more expensive than this one but this one strikes every time. I also add fuel without bleeding it (I know it's a no-no) but I have never had any issues doing this. Best lighter I've ever owned and I've had various jet lighters over the past 25 years. Read more
Had for 4 months great at first over time flame gets lower and lower.. it is now turned up all the and barely stays lit.. This is the most expensive lighter I have ever bought and the worst. Read more

It's definitely on the heavy side but when you pull it out in public to light up a cigar, people notice. It does use a good bit of fuel as any quad will but so far, I haven't had any problems and really like the over-sized fuel gauge. Only problem so far is after filling it, I have to turn down the gauge or else its too high...same for when it runs low, you have to turn it up or it sputters. Read more
You know you can't go wrong with Xikar and their lifetime warranty. This sleek stylish lighter has a large tank with a clear window that has a red color indicator to determine butane levels. I got the burnt orange/rust color. I also bought the matching lighter. The set looks really good together and they make a good conversation piece. The trigger is smooth and the 4 jets burn clean. I've had it 2-3 months with average use. No issues so far. Very comfortable in your hand. Read more

The lighter worked fine, but after 9 months the lighter failed completely. Ignited through the vents on the side, and burned until out of fuel. Read more
By far the best lighter I have ever owned so far. Xikar's lifetime warranty makes me feel so comfortable with all their quality products. The only issue I have is I wish it was a little more wind resistant. I did find if I turn the flame up higher it does resist wind more. All in all a great lighter. Read more
