And the surface is definitely non-slip. I chose this one for the size, because I wanted one that covers the whole bathtub. I have a large tub, and it covers the whole thing. So there’s plenty of room for playing and baby is perfectly safe. When you first open it, the directions say to put it in the bathtub with warm water to help soften it and loosen the roll to help it lay flat. I did that, then hung it on the towel rack to dry. After that it was ready to use. I also rinse it after each use and hang it to dry. This is a really good value and I recommend it to everyone. Read more
