I got this bag for my daughter to use on her camping trips, and it works exactly as expected. It's basically an oversized bag so you don't need to neatly roll your sleeping bag up - you can just stuff it in, pull the drawstring, and buckle the top. It definitely keeps everything in. However, if you do choose to roll your sleeping bag (relatively) nicely, you'll actually end up with extra space to throw any other items that don't otherwise fit in your pack. Very convenient. I know that this was designed for a particular brand of sleeping bag, but it will work for most bags. It’s got plenty of room and seems to be constructed well. The bag itself is actually a two ply which means it will have better weatherproofing. The top is drawstring with a fold over and buckled closure. And the sling on the back is a nice addition.
