This braided stretch belt was purchased for a Halloween costume. It really brought the costume together. It was comfortable, good quality and in fact stretchy. The odd thing was there were no holes, so it went in between the braids to buckle this belt. This didn't affect the function of the belt overall. It was also a little shorter than we expected. I got this belt for my boyfriend who has lost some weight. His favorite belt doesn't quite fit anymore and he has poked a couple of holes in it to make it fit. So I got him this one because there is no need to worry about holes. The little metal prong will go through any part of the belt, due to the way it is woven. And it looks great. It's not fancy leather, but I think it looks just as good, if not better. The price is so amazing, I plan to get it in other colors, and maybe one for myself. So if your waistline tends to fluctuate due to bloating or weight variations, this is certainly for you. It's a great belt even without such issues. Nice belt...so far, so good. The stretchability of the belt and the fact that it can be fastened at any point (through the weaving and without needing specific "holes") has made it the perfect solution for my husband. Although he owns lots of belts, he was down to one that he felt fit him well and actually did a good job. He likes this belt and feels he can adjust it any time if his jeans begin to feel loose after wearing them awhile (a problem he was having since losing a few pounds.)
