This belt appears to be very sturdy and durable, but I just bought it. I'll check back in after one year on this. What I love is the buckle latch mechanism. There are no holes in the belt. There are indentations in the back side for a ratchet. You just slide the belt thru the buckle and you hear the ratchet in the buckle click thru the indentations until you stop. You can tighten it to exactly what you want - no fussing to get the right hole like with a regular belt. Release is easy, just pull the release lever. Ignore other comments about difficulty with the release mechanism. Play with it for a minute and you'll get it. Initial setup is easy. You will probably have to cut off a short section before putting on the buckle and that is relatively easy too. Just read the instructions. Read more
These belts are great. I first bought the black one about 10 months about and have worn it to work daily. The release mechanism took a few tries to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it just becomes muscle memory. The black finish on the buckle has come off in a few places but primarily on the back from rubbing against the button on my jeans. The few spots on the front aren’t very noticeable unless someone is really looking at your crotch for a prolonged time for some reason. Overall great quality belt for the price. The ratchet mechanism is nice and the material appear good quality and well made. I was looking to buy a brown belt and saw this pack with a black as well and figured why not get a new one of those as well. This is actually quite a nice, and well made belt. It comes with sizing instructions, so you cut it to your actual size. The buckle has an interesting manner of attaching the belt around ones waist that seems quite ingenious to me. It slides through the buckle and then presses down to stay in place without having an actual hole to puncture through. The leather is quite nice and was the color advertised in the photograph (red). If someone needs to get out of the belt, it can be tricky. The release is small an hard to find if someone is unfamiliar with how it works. Especially if someone has a caretaker like in the elderly. Nice belt for a nonsituational person Read more
been wearing the traditional belts forever...and hate that the holes stretch over time. someone mentioned these so i gave it a try and i wont go back to the old belts. these are truly amazing, sizing them down is really simple and easy to cut with a nice pair of scissors, attaching the belt buckle is also really easy and the ease of use and the fit just perfect. no holes to stretch, looks cleaner since all the magic happens under the belt, and get a better fit since the ratchets arent spaced every inch like traditional belts so you get the perfect fit. definitely worth the buy :) Read more
2 belts for basically the price of one.....This is a steal! Didn't know what to expect since you can't try them on until they come in. However, the latching mechanism seems very sturdy and I expect these belt to last a very long time. I used them for a work conference and got a lot of great compliments. I love that I can swap them out and put the black buckle on the brown belt, or vice versa. Also, it's easy to size the belts if they are too long for you. Overall I would definetly purchase again, and maybe I might by another set with different colors. Read more
Update: customer service was amazing. THey actually sent me a new belt buckle. They tracked it all the way and kept me up to date on every leg of the transaction. Great job guys!!! I give them an5 star!!!! Update: I purchased this in April and I wear a suit and tie all day. No idea how this scratched the paint off. I love these belts. The price was great and of course prime. But you can adjust the belt on a second. If you ate to much or didn’t eat enough and feal a little skinner. Just ratch it up or down!! Read more
I'm tired of paying top dollar for belts and took a chance on this one. For the price it is a good value. If you need belts in different colors at a reasonable price this is a good way to go. You cut it to fit so the size will be "perfect" for you. How long it may last with every day wear is uncertain, but I alternate belts so I don't need one built to last 20 years. It can easily pass as a dress belt but will also work for more casual wear. Read more
