I am a personal trainer and I am recommend this set to all of my online clients right now. After looking ALL over the internet, this is the best quality at a great value and shipping time was quick and free. The weights are in great condition. I really like that they are coated in plastic and not iron actually. they fit on the barbell perfectly and the locking system works perfectly fine. my pro tip is to clean the weights with bleach and water solution to get the chemical smell. That terrible smell came right out when I used the bleach and water but at first when I used soap and water it did nothing. Read more

This is a great value for the money. It's perfect for my needs--- just light lifting. BUT the weights become loose on the bar (the piece that holds weights on comes unscrewed while lifting). It's super annoying. After each set I have to retighten the weights on the bar. But, this set is very affordable compared to higher end sets. Don't expect great quality! The media could not be loaded. The pieces that keep the weights on need to be tightened after each set. I’ve had a 250lb bodybuilder tighten it as much as they could but not matter what, they are loose after each set. If you ignore it, your weights will be falling off the bar after the second set. This isn’t a huge draw back, it’s just insanely annoying having to stop and tighten them 10-20+x during a workout. I’m also having a hard time finding something small enough to keep the weights in place; the bar where the weights are placed is less than an inch wide. Read more

I was needing some weights with gyms closed during pandemic. This was modestly priced and easy to use. Delivered fast. It’s true the collars need to be tightened often and come ajar with use, but for the money a great buy! If you need 25-50 lbs this is a great set. Read more

The weights and bar seem solid enough.. if I could use them. What happened to me is like what some other reviews mentioned, sometimes the bars are misaligned and don't fit well enough to allow the holding screw in the middle to go through. When I reached out to the seller to ask for a replacement, they were wholly uncooperative. They kept offering me $6-15 to brush it the issue under the table. and I quote: "How about we refund you $12 as a discount and you kindly keep it? Maybe you can resell it or give it to other as a gift. Is it ok for you?" "In this situation, how about we refund you $6 as a discount" "Any chance that we refund $15 to you as a compensation to get this issue solved?" Why would I resell it or give it to others if it's a defective product? Note: that first quote was the first email back to me. Their first foot forward was for me to dispose of it and ignore the issue, and this stance continued. The company clearly is making money on the product even after a $15 refund, and wants the buyer to deal with the problems. Not on my watch. When they finally caved and offered me a replacement (after ~15 emails back and forth), they dodged my question about when the next batch would be in stock. I would need to send back the product, wait an undetermined amount of time for their new stock, then wait for shipment again. If you buy this product, there's a non-zero chance you'll get a defective product, perhaps even unusable like so many have mentioned. If you do get a faulty product, the seller will not help you out, and Amazon will drag their feet on this since it's a 3rd-party seller. The risk is up to you.
