Loving it so far. The barbell to dumbbell transition is easy but not quick. Honestly though, I don't mind leaving it permanently in barbell mode at all. It makes more sense any way to have a separate set of adjustable dumbbells. If you're serious about your workouts, and you're intentionally setting tangible goals, you know how important it is to be deliberate about your rest time between sets. The ease of use is the best part. Being able to adjust the weight with a simple twist of the bar is fantastic. Being able to remove the remaining plates from the carriage when the barbell is out is also a nice little touch. Handy for light plate exercises. The other key critical design element is stability and safety. My first set of adjustable dumbbells make a rattling noise that raises concern over how secure they are. We'll see how this performs over time, but as of right now, this barbell is sturdy and silent, so the plates definitely feel secure. Overall, a solid product especially for its price. This may not be the cheapest adjustable barbell out there, but it's much more affordable than the majority of the competition, plus, you should probably be skeptical of anything priced any lower than this. Dumbells are great! Cheapest price on the market by FAR for 90lb adjustables, make sure you are extra careful with them as they cannot take drops and abuse, had them for over a month and as long as you watch what you are doing and are very careful when switching weights these are very efficient and have a great grip! Switching all the way to 90lbs and the barbell feature is so convenient! Highly recommended for experienced lifters looking for a solid reliable adjustable set at a fraction of the cost! Read more

Don’t buy this dumbbell. As many of you, these caught my eye because of the great price and large amount of weight. However, they have a major design flaw causing them to be unsafe. While being convertible to a barbell is awesome, it causes the dumbbell usage some issues. I bought 3 sets of these. 1 to be used as a barbell and 2 for dumbbells. On both of the dumbbells, the handle has broken in between uses causing the weights to fall off the end. As you can imagine, 45 lbs of weights falling off the side of your hand is extremely scary and dangerous. The handle is made from plastic and just not strong enough for everyday use at 75lbs or above. They work great for about a week and then they begin to fail. While the company is “ willing” to work with you for replacement parts, they don’t seem to have a new handle to replace. Instead they want you to somehow box up a 90lb dumbbell with no box or packing materials to send back to them so they can ship a replacement. Not so simple. Read more

I recently decided to get myself back into shape after not really working out seriously for at least the last decade. I already had one adjustable dumbell (75lbs) and had been looking for something to go with it. This was the perfect find and not TOO expensive espcially for what comes with it. I wasn't looking to get a barbell, but I'll try to throw it in at some point, lol. As far as the dumbell set, it seems very solid and it's been easy to use so far. Will definitely purchase another to complete the set as my other adjustable dumbell has slightly different weight adjustments so I have to alternate sides when working out. In my experience, they also shipped the same day and it arrived much earlier than expected (3 days to delivery instead of expected 5-7 days)! HIGHLY recommend! Read more

Nice adjustable dumbbell except for the size of weight numbers. They're really small and hard to see. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Read more

I have used these dumbbells for some time and like them. At the time they were the cheapest option of this style. Changing weights is smooth and locks in securely. I have never had a problem with the weights falling off. I love that it goes up to 90lbs and hope I can achieve that someday. I bought 2. Haven't tried barbell mode, not my thing. Good build quality and flexibility. Read more

Pros: great grip, easy to adjust, simple to swap to dumbell to barbell. Cons: why does it come with 2 barbell poles? Just takes up space. The weight is great for dumbells but if you are hitting max on the dumbell there is no point in the barbell; maybe should have read into it more. Kettle bell is useless due to the weight and shape; the most youll be able to get out of it is holding it with your arm horizontal because as soon as you do any vertical movement it feels like it will unlock and the weights either smash or rub against your arm.
