Nice and bright when needed.
Used these for middle-of-the-night bathroom visits when there might be a delay finding the light switch and the user is sleepy. They are nice and bright and respond quickly to motion. Just what they were needed for. Read more
Round night light.
It puts out a wonderfully great bright light. My objection is that the motion doesn’t pick up until you are almost in front of the light which doesn’t make a safe night light!. It didn’t work in our hallway for that reason but we switched it to the small bathroom where it works fine. Read more

Purpose
The overhead light in my garage went out and I couldn't reach it so I bought this light to plug in to the outlet at the back of the garage, next to the laundry room door. I thought that when I came home at night the sensor would detect the garage door opening and the light would go on. It doesn't. The distance is too great. For that purpose, it's useless. I also put one near my stairway so I could see, at night, going up the stairs. Again, the range of motion is poor. I need to be right in front of it before it goes on. When I walk past it and the light DOES go on and I'm not expecting it, it's so bright that it startles the daylights out of me! The light, itself, is good if you want to use it to light a closet and plan to wave your hand in front of it to activate it. Read more
