I guess it works if you work it. But just another huge box to store somewhere. Not really worth the trouble unless you’re a dedicated fitness junky. It is quality construction and I’d feel safe jumping on it. (210lbs) I returned it! Read more

Great touch to add to my workout. Sturdy, I mean like super sturdy, a SOLID box that holds my 230 lbs with ease. Not heavy but definitely not a light weight box. My husband put it together - like fast. I have a pillow I use when sitting on it. The color I chose is great, however, I may get the darker color when I buy the next size. Read more

This is a great box, no doubt. Less than the wood would cost to build it yourself, but machine cut, smooth edges, nicely finished. As nice as any box I've seen in any CrossFit box. It's very sturdy, and I Iove the handle cutouts. That being said, the assembly was not fun. I won't say it wasn't easy, it was easy, it just wasn't fun. The ends of each side go on top of the adjoining side. The top piece has a nice hole with a counter-sink in it, there is no hole in the lower piece. Not a problem, really, since the screws are more than sharp enough to pierce the wood. The problem is that they are Allen head screws. The screws come with a tiny Allen tool, pictured here. I included a penny in the picture for scale. At first, I thought, no problem! I have Allen wrench bits of every size in my collection to put in my cordless screwdriver. But I was wrong. I have all sizes EXCEPT this one. I don't know if this is a custom size or if I've magically misplaced this size bit from the 3 different sets I own, but there was no bit found at my house. So, I used the Allen wrench it came with. It took a lot of force on the wrench to get the screws started. After that, some went in smoothly, but many did not. I had to take a break and wait to finish until the next day to prevent getting blisters on the pads of my thumb and fingers. You can also see in the image that by the time I was done, the Allen wrench itself was stripped a bit. All-in-all, it wasn't a HORRIBLE experience, but I would gladly have paid a price of, say, $5 more to get a better Allen tool. Perhaps like the ratcheting ones Ikea includes? Or just make the screws Phillips head. I will include this qualification: It could be that the company is smarter than me, and they know that using a cordless drill or screwdriver would have caused the wood to split or some other thing to make the box not as nice. A sentence or two in the instructions stating that would have made me feel better about it. Read more

This was our first plyo box that we bought before moving up to the next size up. While this one got the job done, we needed one more so two of us could use them at the same time. This one was a little less stable than the one just bigger and we upgraded to include the black, grippy surface as well. It was a little pricey, but it was a necessary purchase for our home gym. It was easy to put together and easy to use. Great way to build a solid pair of tree trunk legs, lol. Read more
