The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for a piece of exercise equipment I had to modify. The middle part is a sturdy spring from an item that was meant to simulate using an exercise rope, but it was basically a hard plastic handle on a spring, and was too short to be effective. I added a foot of PVC pipe from a hardware store and bought these grips to improve it further. Now it does feel like I am using an exercise rope but takes up no room when I use it. These grips were exactly what I needed. I just did 100 reps and the grips were comfortable but my arms back and chest are burning nicely. I've been exercising with staff and sword since the 1970s. Within the past 10 years have added weighted bats (persian meel, indian clubs, whatever) and kettlebells. I am 63, and once I get to 300 reps with this spring thing, I will replace the current tubing with a 2 foot length of PVC tubing. The way the grip feels is the difference between exercising a little or a lot. I plan on buying more of these grips. The price is good and they work well. Rght now I am switching this pair between the springs and my indian clubs. I don't have large hands so that does increase the amount of force I need to exert. I like practicing with swords, clubs, and staffs because there is a flow to it and it doesn't get boring or ever feel like exercise. Just like practicing the drums. If I play drums for 20 minutes my watch thinks I was cycling uphill. To me drums are fun, but I wouldn't want to cycle uphill. (Not My Bag) Lifting weights was tedious for me and I felt trapped, which is how I felt on a treadmill. I'll happily walk 10 miles outdoors but I won't last 5 minutes on a treadmill. Read more

I have been using this with my workouts for about a week now, it works great and seems high quality and likely to hold up long term. I have handled real Fat Gripz before, this one feels a little more slick, like rubbery silicon vs the Fat Gripz that feel more like a rubber eraser. But for 1/2 the price I can live with that. I am still able to do all my exercises and it really targets your forearms. They are relatively easy to take on an off, although I try not to too much since I am not sure if that will shorten the life span. Since I use adjustable dumbbells, I actually just leave them on a pair of handles, and have another set of handles without them. FYI they fit 1" diameter dumbbell handles, but are a little loose, just like Fat Gripz. When when you actually lift, if you squeeze the handles (like you are supposed to) they do not move. The only reason to buy the real Fat Gripz are if you want to smaller diameter or larger diameter ones. But if this brand made those and at this price, I would buy it from them! Read more
Good set of grips to strengthen that grip. Really does make a difference when lighting and limiting what you can lift to what your grip can actually you hold. On a standard bar, they don't wrap all around the bar so there is a little gap. That's to be expected in think. Not sure how others fit. That gap makes it a little tough to grip in some situations. It's important to note how you grab the bar and where the gap exists will affect me your grip. They are well built and look very durable. Thick material that will increase the working effectiveness of your grip training. A good option for those looking to increase your grip. Read more
For the product itself, 5 stars, well built, (it's a rubber mold, how can you mess that up?) LOL but for me, they're hard to use. I have a very wide fist, but smaller fingers. So this is a good and bad thing. The good thing comes from my gym having very narrow handles on their dumbbells which is why I ordered these in the first place. The bad comes from my smaller hands having a harder time holding onto the grips using them. BUT again with the BUT... my forearms are getting a blasting! So I'm back to 5 stars again. My arms are sore all the time (a good sore) as my forearms are getting a workout like never before. I've had to come way down in the weight that I work with, but that's ok too. If I get back to the weights I WAS using while using these, I could take them off and really jump up a few reps in much heavier weights. Seriously, I can cleanly curl 55 pound dumbbells without the grips, and struggle with 35's. So, if you want an awesome forearm workout, AND workout your grip (which my grip is weak too because I've broken both my hands breaking boards and bricks in karate, which shows I did it wrong to begin with) but it's increasing my grip strength as well. Great product, Read more
Like other Yes4All products that I tried it is a high quality product for a reasonable price. It fits tightly and safely over olympic bars when doing speed work with weights and resistance bands and stays perfectly in place. It also works well With conventional weights and adjustable dumbbells. This product is about a third of the price as some of the better known brands. Read more
