Fresh out of the tall grass; this little bush-whacker might surprise you with its performance. A tough, rugged exterior with some great construction choices that boost the long term value. Theres nothing quite like growing with an RC, and you can certainly do that here. Best for a beginner but absolutely enjoyable by anyone; it really punches above its weight class in a number of areas. The dual batteries up your drive time and the battery system they went with is a pleasant surprise over the usual offering at the price point. Not only will they last longer, they are easily replaced with other units. The waterproofing is in short, amazing. I took this little ripper (unintentionally) through a loaded concrete runoff with an easy 2 inches of standing water. Dropped off while descending a small grass bluff. Thing still looks brand new. After popping off the shell for a quick shammy it was back in the grass. To be fair, beyond that my use has been mostly short to medium grass and asphalt. So not hard duty but at the same time MANY battery cycles later it’s still going strong. It’s front wheel drive and I’m not sure why that’s not easier to find. It’s pretty important information. But there is a decent manual included which at least mentions a lot of what you shouldn’t do. At speed you’re getting nowhere near top on anything but concrete. But the universal function in harsher terrain makes up for that. In my opinion it’s beginner level hobby, and that’s a good thing. Some additional info: The body’s strength lies in the construction and quality of the bottom plate and top shell system. The bottom is tough, scratch resistant and very waterproof. The top shell has a great pin system for quick swaps. They even have additional shells on offer via mail order. The LEDs aren’t great quality but the assembly can be easily removed. It’s versatile and able to endure and repair cosmetic damage with the manual catalog. Again, features and function generally seen on higher end RCs. One battery is great. Two is even better. But a designated quick switch unit like this with actual backups is best. No cheap proprietary wrap that fails in two weeks. You get above entry level charge with accurate drive time. That’s a big one for me. I want my wheels turning for as long as possible. Finally, and it has to be mentioned; that despite the value there’s some plastic. A good bit of plastic in some areas that will take a beating. The good news is I’ve abused those areas getting to know the rig and have encountered zero problems through the better part of a month. I haven’t been gentle on the shocks in particular. And after a quick adjustment they’re back up and performing. The total package is generous. Manuals for a beginner’s gift, a set of sand tires (can’t wait to try these out), charger, small driver and the aforementioned dual batteries. It really rounds out the RC when some vital enjoyment pieces are included. Those are just things you won’t also have to buy later. All together I’m really impressed. It stands well above some similar level rigs I’ve driven and I expect to put a lot more travel on it. A new shell and a few more batteries are likely in order. Cheers Read more

Great little RC for the price! Yes, it's not brushless or the fastest thing. But the brushed 390 motor has enough punch to entertain kids and adults. The throttle and steering are proportional. The batteries are easy to change, and have a decent run time around 20 minutes. Its larger than our SCX24s, much smaller than our 1/10 scales. Just a hair larger than our 1:18 RCs. We have run it in the rain and then hit it with compressed air followed by WD40. Everything still looks new and operates well. We will get gravel in the chassis, but the center driveshaft is well protected. We just turn the RC upside down and The kids haven't broken it yet and they go through 4 batteries each weekend. Looking forward to testing out the paddle tires at the beach. So far the kids haven't broken it, so its durable. I am not sure on the support for replacement parts when that time does come. That is the only real con I can think of. Read more

I got this for my 10 year old son and so far he and his friends are having a blast with it. I tested it out for a bit myself and this thing is fast and fun to play with. What we dont like: Battery compartment is underneath the chassis. I also tested a smaller Yeshin RC truck, a 1:18 scale model, it is also waterproof but its battery compartment is accessible from the bottom of the truck. Ran that through a puddle with no issues. You can drain the batteries with an extended session so being able to get to the batteries without popping the chassis off is a nice to have, which this doesnt offer. Lights on the roof are easy to break. Chassis of remote control cars are meant to be flexible and handle collisions but when you poke holes in them, attach lights and then connect that to the frame, its not a good combination. I was able to force the lights back into place, but theyre not stable. I anticipate over a long enough timeline that Ill be cutting the wires and removing the lights. What we like: Fast Handles the terrains we've thrown at it without issue. Rocks, long grass, pavement, sand, dirt, mud, puddles, mud puddles? No problems. You can adjust the max speed setting. This was great for my son. Lowering the speed to something not so insane is a great way to allow time for figuring out the controls and the feel for the car. Fast. Did I mention fast? Good range on the remote. Haven't run this till its out of range but I was able to drive this down to the end of my street and around my cul-de-sac with minimal eyes on it and it never lost contact. This is really 5 star fun and the quality is on point. I really want to give it 5 stars but the lights on the top snapping loose within the first 5-10 minutes is enough for me to not give this 5 stars. Really a 4.5 if I could. Read more

Nice RC car good size it is a true 1/18 scale it is definitely a hobby grade car not for little kids older kids and adults it's nice and quick comes with two batteries so you get plenty of runtime it is a brushed motor you could spend a little more money and get a brushless RC which would be faster but this is definitely a nice car worth the money you can get parts for it to replace things if they break but it does seem like it's pretty durable so far no problems Read more
