I have never tried a pillow like this so I wanted to give one a try. It came vacuum packed and tightly rolled and at first I thought that it was not going to be firm enough and would quickly end up squished down and flat But first looks are deceiving. The pillow is very firm and holds its shape very well but maybe a little too well. I’m a back and side sleeper, and when you are sleeping on your back the notch for your neck does hold your head well and the cushioning is firm. For the first few nights I enjoyed it but adjusting to the way it held my head was a bit harder than I expected. When laying on my side I tend to put my arm under the pillow which defeats the design of pillow, and because it is so firm It raises your head up higher and puts your neck at an angle. It didn’t take too long before my neck started letting me know it didn’t appreciate that increased angle and left me with some tense muscles. I also like to sleep a little closer to the edge of the pillow and that is hard to do with the way it is designed. They also say this pillow is cooling. I detected no cooling at all. It appears to be a firm memory foam and like memory foam holds heat and gets warm quickly. I don’t think if you are a hot sleeper that you will like that heat increase. For me it wasn’t a problem, but it was noticeable. I think the quality of the pillow is good, but the design and how you are supposed to use it don’t match up with how I sleep. If you like a firm pillow and are a back sleeper you may like its design. I do think it is a good value as it is a lot less expensive than the other pillows I have tried. This pillow is the best. I work in front of a computer all day and deal with stiff shoulders and neck pain. Before using this pillow, my hands and arms would often fall asleep when I slept on my side. Since switching, that no longer happens. I truly believe this pillow helps relieve pressure and supports my head and neck in a way my old pillow never did. I liked it so much that I ordered two more. One for my husband and one for my mom, who both struggle with neck issues. I’m hoping they get the same relief I have. The quality is excellent, with the perfect balance of firm yet soft. The cover is smooth and has a button closure, making it easy to remove and wash. The only minor thing I noticed is that the side areas where you can rest your hands are a bit narrow, so my hands sometimes slip off, but it honestly doesn’t bother me. ok i am a skeptic when it comes to things. i share a room with my 6 year old granddaughter. she would sleep with her mom cause she said i snored and she couldnt sleep. so i bought this pillow to give it a try. can i say this pillow is AMAZING!!!!! my granddaughter is back sleeping in her room with me and i havent snored with sleeping on this pillow. i do RECOMMEND this pillow. i sleep on my back and sides and its very comfortable and i havent snored in any position.
