First of all, I've seen reviews on this product from people wanting this to be more of a power station or solar generator. That's not what this is, this has a totally different battery technology. This does not have a lithium iron phosphate battery, it has a lithium polymer battery, they are two different beasts. Lithium iron phosphate is designed to charge and discharge slowly with many more cycles of battery life. The problem is that lithium iron phosphate is actually a liquid battery, and it will freeze at -4 F. This jump staeter has a solid battery that is stable to -40 F, the main reason I bought it. Here in the mountains it does get that cold and your typical lithium battery jump starter won't work in the cold. The other advantage is that the lithium polymer battery is designed to charge fast and discharge fast, perfect for a jump starter. I'm blown away by this new battery technology! One of the other reasons I bought it is that a 44 year mechanic veteran who does instructional videos on YouTube says to never use jumper cables as it can burn out electronics on both vehicles, that totally blew me away. At first I was looking at the lithium iron phosphate jump starters, but they all stop working in the cold, totally useless for me. And if you read the reviews on those, many will die after just one year. I actually had one, and a year later when I needed it, it was totally dead and wouldn't even take a charge. This lithium polymer jump starter is guaranteed for at least 18 months, another reason to buy this one. The user manual says it should last for at least 5 years. We have not been able to use it yet but the first one came with 2 broken cord warps. The second one came with 1 broken cord wrap. We sent the first one back for a replacement. The replacement we just decided to keep assuming that a third would have the same problem. The cord warp is a bad design. A little bump and they would break off. Since there was a sharp end of a screw sticking out, we super glued the cord warp back on to protect the cord from getting cut by the screw. Not happy when you pay this much money for something and receive it broken, not once, but twice. It better work good is all that I can say about it at this point. Read more

This is my second jump starter from the company. My first one has been used many times during the past two years. This unit is a bit smaller and I wanted this one for my wife's vehicle. I have used it twice and it works great. I had to purchase a case because it doesn't come with one. My last one came with a case. Read more

We were tailgating at a football game last week, running a slow cooker off the aux power of my Ram 1500 truck. As we packed up to go into the game, I attempted to crank my truck...nothing...the battery was drained. There is nothing like the thought of going into a 4 hour night game, knowing you are going to have to deal with a dead battery when you return to your vehicle around midnight! Luckily, a relative tailgating with us had one of these Yesper chargers in his vehicle. He retrieved it and we fired my truck up on the 1st try! I let it run about 5 minutes and crossed my fingers that it would start when we got back after the game. It did! But I learned my lesson. I promptly ordered one of these and now have it in my truck!
