Great - as described. Was not happy on the time it took to begin shipping out but the product is exactly what I wanted (took an extra 2 days). I use it for Rocksmith 2014 on my PC and it works flawlessly. Good sound output. Don’t buy a resold Rocksmith cable. It’s not needed. Buy this instead. Significantly cheaper (likely 50% less) than a new or used Rocksmith cable. Solid and sturdy. Compatible with PC and any other audio interface that takes inputs. Read more

Great cable, there is an identical one on here that is like $20 cheaper. Packaging, contents, and specs are exactly the same. Got both on accident and compared them! This is a great cord and works flawlessly with rocksmith if that's what your after. Both cords do show up as a real tone cable and sound fantastic! Read more

Got this for rock Smith, it works plug and play unfortunately the game doesn't pick my guitar up well, it could be a multitude of reasons and i haven't bothered to check. But for all intents and purposes this works as intended and i don't think the cable is the problem. Read more

As soon as I got it I plugged it in and tried it with my 4 string Ibanez and it worked. I've never had the actual Real Tone Cable that comes with Rocksmith. So it's doing great to my knowledge. I played for a bit trying to learn how to setup Rocksmith to where I like it. I'm a vocalist who's trying to learn all the instruments all round so hoping this will help. I already know a bit but knowing and playing are very different. Read more

I literally got a few good uses out of it. Worked great, for awhile. Then after putting it away for the night and come back to it the next morning, all of a sudden Rocksmith on my PS5 was not reading my guitar being connected. So I switched to my PS4, same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem. After troubleshooting through trial and error, came to the conclusion that it had to be the cable. Doing a little more research, come to find that it is common that these stop working all of a sudden. Something inside the USB part usually goes bad. So, spent the extra eddies and got the official Rocksmith cable, no problems since. This is not worth the price it is, not very well made. Read more

I got this to be able to play rocksmith on my PC and it functions perfectly for that. The sound is clean through the speakers/headphones. Super easy to use(plug and play) and it seemed was compatible in every way. I’m unsure how it works with other programs - but it did the job I needed:) Read more

I can't speak on long-term durability but one thing I will say is that the cable is split into two parts, the USB which ends in a 3.5mm female socket and a male 3.5mm to male 1/4". Mine arrived today and when I tried to use it, my computer recognized the cable as being a true tone cable, Rocksmith recognized the cable as well, but there was no sound input. When I looked at the 3.5mm connection, I noticed it was a little crooked on the male side. I wiggled it around while strumming my guitar and could get intermittent signal meaning there is probably a short in the male end. I already had my own 3.5mm to 1/4" male to male cord so I plugged that into the USB dongle and now it works fine. I hope everything about it will continue to work correctly now. It's annoying that I have to replace a part of it with an equivalent component that I already had, and if I didn't have that I would have had to just send this back or buy a new part to replace the defective part of this, but I already owned that cable and it wasn't using it for anything else so it works out for me I guess.
